Case studies - how has your electric bike changed your life?

It's transformed everything. So wished I'd had a mountain bike when I was younger, but bringing up kids and nursing just got in the way. My hubs had gone on for years about getting bikes, but 4 wheeled, japanese speed freak cars also got in the way. 3 years ago I gave in and we bought some...

    Pedelec Riders Club of Britain

Just joined and would be interested in club joining. Anything happening ? So long as mountain ebikes are allowed It would be nice to have the opportunity to meet up with others. Work commitments would be my only sticking point (nurse doing night shifts only). Fairly certain Hubby would be up for...

    Cleaning and detailing

Silly question ..What's duck oil ? is it similar to the bike spray from Muck off ? I clean our bikes each time we've been out and thoroughly once a month (he does his own then). I tend to use the Muck Off range and had fenwick at some point. What cleaning products do you prefer ???

    Anyone done...

I've done Ae and that was really enjoyable, lots of fun. Glentrool doesn't appeal to hubby, but it does to me so may just have to persuade him. Thanks once again. If that's your age then I'll go man up a bit ;)

    Anyone done...

Thanks Tom for the reply. It must be nice living up there with them all not so far away. Me and hubby tend to go to Wales a lot as it's a wee bit closer. Coed Llandegla being closest and quite a bit of fun. I'm looking forward to it, Innerleithen is probably way past any abilities I've got. I...

    Anyone done...

.....Mabie Forest, Dalbeattie, Glentress and Kirroughtree on their eMTB ? Did you enjoy it and how was it if you did ? We are off to do some of the 7 Stanes at the beginning of June. We did Ae forest and Drumlanrig Castle last time round. Drumlanrig was quite hard going as it was very wet and...

Going away at the beginning of June and just realised that Fort William Downhill is on that weekend, lets just hope that leaves us quiet for the rest of the week.

    Roof Carrier for 29er

Got me a tow bar for the Hyundai ix 35, and bike carrier, Buzz Rack Scorpion . It's a heavy one, but just as good as the thule. Hubby has a 2014, Ford Connect SWB, best thing we bought. Can't afford a VW, but would quite happily have a transit next time. I agree I don't know how we'd cope...

    New one

Hello and thanks for the welcome :). I'm a nurse and only work nights so my replies aren't the most consistent. Chris, My hubbys bike is now safe at home, but it seems that my motor needs to be changed. We bought the bikes from Leisure Lakes as they had the best deal at the time. Had no other...
