Hobby king multi star on offer

Before anyone considers these batteries I strongly recommend that you read the battery charging tutorial on ES https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=52240 You do need a bit of commonsense to use them safely. I use 6 x 16Ah 6s Multistars for a 44.4v 48Ah battery and it only...

You only need one cut out. Best put on the rear brake as thats the one that should be used all the time whereas the front brake wont be used on slipppy surfaces.

Looking for a good hill climber..?

If you say the area you live in there may be someone nearby who would let you have a go of their bike to see if its suitable. I live up on the Teesdale moors with steep hills in all directions and use a BBS02 which will climb anything.

    Long Distance

I get between 35 and 50 miles to a 16Ah battery. Thats with a BBS02 on a Cannondale Trail 6 MTB on knobbly tires and I weigh 17 stone and the bike weighs another 3 stone fully loaded. I have 3 sets of batteries fitted so thats a maximum total of 150 miles to a charge!

As long as you have the tools it takes less than an hour to install a BBS . Of course that assumes you know which parts have left hand threads!! It takes longer to route and fix the wires than it does to install the motor.

The split rings on the left are spacers to fit the lcd to different sized handlebars. The bit with 3 prongs fits inside the thumb throttle on the handlebar grip side so the throttle does not stick open. The thumb throttle simply plugs into the colour coded connection and slides over the end of...

    Cyclomatic

I have one and last used it in October just to keep it going. Its a bit of a heap with a couple of broken spokes in the buckled rear wheel and the brakes are a bit naff. The gears dont work at present as the cable is frayed. It struggles uphills but I do weigh 17 stone. The battery however is in...

    BBS02 bottom bracket size?

The OPs bb is 90mm wide so a 100mm kit will be needed.

    BBS02 bottom bracket size?

You dont need threads as the motor is held by clamping force . Just need to make sure that when the bearings are removed the inside diameter is big enough for the motor bb to slide through. I have no experience of press fit bb so dont know the size...

    BBS02 bottom bracket size?

You would need a 100mm BBS motor and shim it to get the best chain line. You would also need to make sure the bb is at least the same inside diameter as a standard one.
