I have £500 worth of LiPo batteries on mine but this type.is only for people who know how to maintain them correctly . In novice hands they are like a bomb and people have burnt their houses down with them!

It replaces the bottom bracket where the pedals fit on. You need to know the width of it. The motor costs around £400 then you also need a battery.

Bafang BBS02 would be my choice. I have one on my 29er and its far better than the 1000w hub motor on my other ebike.

We have 27 year old twin boys. They have Angelmans syndrome so have mental ages of 2 and 4. They were born 12 weeks early and weighed less than 2lbs each. Still would not swap them for anything though. Twins just means you will get twice the love (and the expense)!

The green light on my cyclamatic always goes out as soon as some power is applied. Its obviously set to light at virtually full voltage.

I used to have one of those in the original post and it was excellent. Just be careful not to overtighten it...

A motorcyclist was killed at the exact same spot a few years ago but that was when a car pulled out of the junction where the front of that bus is.

Sad to say an 80 year old pedelecer was killed in a collision with a bus today near Durham City. My condolences go out to his family.

I was riding carefully as I had a new MX shirt on and no rear mudguard. Hopefully will get time to fit it this week as we have snow forecast for tomorrow on the hills.:D

If you need a wiring diagram for 2 batteries then I worry that you may not be capable of looking after LiPo batteries properly and safely. All it takes is a wrong connection and you could end up with KFF (Kentucky Fried Fingers) or worse still an explosion and fire !!

I regularly ride my BBS02 through fords and streams where the motor is completely underwater and have never had a problem in over 3000 miles. Its completely standard and has never been opened up.

My cyclamatic has a worn key and can be taken out when its switched on. It can also fall out when riding so I have to make sure I remove it and keep it in my pocket. Life would be simpler if it was like yours.

Passed a mobility scooter this afternoon on National cycle route 14 going over Howgill viaduct. Its over a mile from a paved road!

The roads round here do,and lots of horses too. My bike does 34mph tops but as soon as I see someone else I slow right down and,in the case of coming up behind horses I always shout out a warning to let them know I am there. A bit of commonsense goes a long way towards keeping everyone safe.
