I very rarely drink beer actually.. Brandy has far fewer calories in o_O Unfortunately the shaking is a hereditary thing,my poor mum has to use a teacup with a lid on these days.

    Bike Theft LEBC

Put search requests for them on ebay with daily notifications and they will eventually appear either there or on craigslist etc. These people are obviously brain dead and wont expect you to look there!

Just ordered a 750w BBS02, my first electric bike !

I started with a 10ah headway battery and 2a charger so 5 hours to charge. Next came a pair of 16ah Multistars with a 6a balance charger so that was 9 hours to charge, getting a second charger halved that time. Next was another pair of Multistars in parallel so time to start bulk charging,I...

    Soldering irons

Lead free solder is like alcohol free beer! Totally pointless and wont do the job :-) I use a 100 watt iron but then I do mainly 10 guage wire and XT90 connectors. Anything delicate I get a mate to sort as my hand shakes too much.:-)

My button and thumb throttle are on the left(its a right hand throttle but its not a problem).

    Another BBS01 conversion...

Thats the correct way to use the throttle and wont do any harm as the motor has a heat sensor that will cut power before it overheats.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Had a little ride out through Hamsterley forest followed by a ride along the old railway from Bishop Auckland to Brandon then back through the forest trails again. Things are drying up a bit now so will get the camera back out next week . https://www.strava.com/activities/270184047

Great stuff. Be careful when first setting off as the acceleration may just surprise you and you need to find out how long it takes your motor to disconnect when you stop pedalling as this varies from motor to motor. Look forward to hearing how it goes.

Just ordered a 750w BBS02, my first electric bike !

You will need M6 bolts 5mm longer than supplied and 5mm spacers or washers to go between the left side plate and the motor. You will also need some blue loctite as you cant fit the locking nut on a 73mm BB.

The Eight Winning Habits of the Electric Bike Rider

Very good but you did miss one important reason (and as you are a dealer I understand why). Ebikers with illegal motors try and stick to the rules of the road so they dont get pulled up!!

Just ordered a 750w BBS02, my first electric bike !

It is the 750 and I find it excellent where I live on the Teesdale moors. Very hilly and lots of off road tracks as well. My cassette is a 34T-11T and the chainring is a 44T which gets me up to 32Mph (its a 29er) and in bottom gear it will climb anything. I also had a 46T chainring which gave me...

Just ordered a 750w BBS02, my first electric bike !

Dont forget you will need protection on the batteries in case you fall off or drop one putting them on/off the bike. I wrap my batteries in filament tape to keep them in compression then cover them in sections of vinyl floor tile and finally a covering in duct tape to hold it all together. I...
