based on the pics something like ebay example But it looks like your headset/display uses a julet plug/socket if so you will need something like another example In addition a headset that can talk to the controller (you may still need an extension lead between headset and contrller) some...

Safe cycle routes. Are there any really?

cycle insurance for theft/loss and 3rd party liability primarily, an ebike as long as rd legal may carry a premium, but since many cycles cost 1000's anyway,, my circa £800 valued ebike (new bike + kit costs) costs £80 p.a You may get a better deal from you home insurer, iirc co-op offered...

    £1.33 pannier bags from aliexpress..

After my first posts and pics of my bike some wise members advised me to consider pannier carriers for the rear rather than the higher centre of gravity black plastic box currently fitted. So when i was presented with a special offer from an aliexpress seller I had to bite, and they finally...

Safe cycle routes. Are there any really?

I have the same issue daily with folk wandering all over the shared cycle path 3 or 4 abreast often with kids too and how shocked they look when i tinkle my lil bell at em.. I read on one of the US EV forums of a chap who fitted a rather loud clown car sounding horn, which apparently encourages...

    Hi just joined

re gears slipping, dont try to tweak the tuning screws on the gears unless the chain is coming off your freewheel or you cant reach some gears. . Just adjust the gear cable tension via the screw barrel where the cable joins the gear changer or at the shifter end, just a turn or so, and try it...

Changing from TMM Torque Sensor to Cadence sensor - how hard is it please?

Just an idea... But all the sensors on my ebike kit are hall effect sensors that respond to magnets.. on that basis alone i think its worth a punt your dodgy sensor is also a hall effect sensor, Worth checking out at least, unless someone in the actual know comes along and shoots me down.. ;)...

    Help! Electric bicycle motor problem.

Its unclear how your set up testing? photos provide a lot of info You need to clamp the shaft or axle in place either in the bike frame, or held in a vice or similar stationary position if not installed in a bike.. If in place in a frame its not clamped tight enough you may need to add spacers...

Funny you should ask about ridding without a headset.. asked a similar Q myself and you kinda can.. See @saneagle 's post Here. As for a specific recommendation, I cant help there but have browsed over way too many cheaper no-name controllers in search for the elusive KT controller and...
