Should I change my teeth? Designer Daimler Mercedes Benz Smart eBike

God and delusion, that fits in nicely with the thread. :)

    Dropper posts..

I use my dropper post continually, but judge whether to remain seated or unseated depending upon the severity of slope or terrain. I guess that I am seated for 75% of the time, and unseated for 25% of the time. The reason for buying an eMTB in the first place was to help my knee and muscle...

Having a rack and panniers on your eBike, is it right?

And me. :( As for Smart Bike accessories... Whatever you decide you could never make it look any worse than this mess http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/look-what-the-postman-brought.25329/page-6#post-327981 Or this one...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

It is also showing zero elevation gain. Why not just sell the Haibike and buy a road bike? .

Nice one Woodsy, I am very envious. It is great to see an eMTB being used for climbing, and you might well find that it becomes very addictive. Nothing beats chasing elevation. :) I have a few more major climbs planned myself, including one which as far as I know has never been done before, but...

Once the ground below softens, you will soon find the grip increasing. :) It can be a real bastid when just the top few mm is wet. I've lost count of how many times that I have ended up on my backside because of it. :D

My back garden!!! I had to go and look at a job this morning, so to try to get some enthusiasm back, I decided to take the bike. Not sure that turning up to look at a job covered in mud was such a bright idea, but I got the work anyway. Not something that you see every day of the week.

    Dropper posts..

Fitting a dropper seat post is the only modification that I have made to either of my bikes. You won't find it of any use at all if riding on roads, pavements or canal towpaths is your thing, but It proves to a very worthy modification for off road riding, and I wouldn't now want be without...

Specialized Turbo Levo FSR Comp 6Fattie

Sadly often the way with photos. Luckily your local soil doesn't look to be the heavy clay and chalk that we have, so hopefully no issues for you. :) Enjoy the bike, and it's encouraging to read that you will be using it in all conditions. It is what they are designed for. :) .

That looks scary close clearance between the rear tyre and the chainstay area. From the photos, it looks like you are going to struggle when things get sticky and muddy.

I seem to have quite a lack of motivation and incentive to be out riding at the moment, but it was still good to be out tonight for a slow ride exploring some local woods.

    Bosch double capacity system

It would have made a massive adverse difference to my off road rides in Switzerland. Even walk assist refused to power the bike forward on several of the occasions where I had to push the bike up gradients recorded at between 50%-60% on loose stone. Even the difference between the weight of the...

    Bosch double capacity system

Bikes are heavy enough as they are, without adding roughly a further 2.kg of weight to them. Perhaps if I just rode the bike on the road I might think differently, but as things stand I'm with Smart eBiker, and happily just carry the spare battery inside of my Camelbak back pack.
