Giant Road e+1 Hill Climbing and Noise test

Well this is going to prove interesting then. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/how-many-people-are-using-there-e-bike-off-road.15780/page-105#post-326349 I foresee Highside43 and you if you also decide to enter, not being allowed to ride. .

Giant Road e+1 Hill Climbing and Noise test

The fastest time for that segment is 2:53, so your time of 7:05 puts you in a very low 379th spot. https://www.strava.com/segments/4556362 In the scheme of things, it just appears to be worm cast on a bowling green. .

    Beautiful Bank Holiday!

Kangooroo without intending, you have completed more off road riding in the space of 35 seconds, than SW has done all year. :D ..

I wonder how I have never seen that before. :(

    Locking Bike Rack Towball Mounted

When traveling abroad I don't like to take any chances. :) Also after having witnessed a carrier falling from a vehicle into the path of following traffic on a motorway in Switzerland, I'd rather know that if the worse did ever happen, that I'd be dragging the carrier behind the vehicle. :)

    Locking Bike Rack Towball Mounted

Local trips aside, I always go a bit OTT and run additional locks down through the towbar itself.

    Comparing lights

You get on better with just one of these, cheaper and more efficient. ;) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-PACK-Candles-tea-lights-tealights-8-HOURS-LONG-BURN-nightlight-/231573045267?hash=item35ead44013:g:yycAAOSwEeFVHrqf

    Bosch Nyon

For sale - One used Bosch Nyon system, complete with wiring and switches. The display unit was swapped/replaced by Bosch late last year, and has not since been fitted to my bike. The price including signed for delivery to UK main land only, for the complete system as pictured minus the...

    Comparing lights

SW, was that taken using your NIkon D3200? You need to get yourself a nice and simple point and shot, such as my Fuji FinePix XP70 ;) Fenix BT20 I'm actually having a re think about the replacement camera for the stolen one. I might go for a bridge camera such as the Sony Cyber-Shot HX400v

    Nothing special. Just getting wet.

On a race such as the Mega, it is simply down to rider skill and luck, and nothing more. One of my friends and regular riding partner has done the Mega three times, and when we ride together on the local down hill track with him on his pedal bike, and me on the eMTB, he finishes sections way...

    Pannier Rack for Haibike HardSeven

Biscitt, this thread could be of help to you. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/haibike-sduro-hardseven-sl-2015-yamaha-7-month-1600-miles.22644/page-2#post-325827

    Multitool

A spare mech hanger is something that I carry all the time in my back pack. Once again just added insurance that takes up very little room.

    Multitool

In reality the only tool that I have ever required whilst out riding is a chain splitter, and that was on the conventional pedal only mtb. For me, the multi tool is just added insurance. :)

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

I guess that it is sad, but I actually really look forward to evening/night riding again. :) I was thinking about it earlier, and I ride roughly 2,000 miles a year in the dark. It actually gives me more freedom to ride where I like, without the routine hassle and grief that walkers and horse...

    The new best headlight

Brilliant photo of the dog. :) Oddly the light actually looks bigger than I had imagined it to be from the spec. Next time that you are out, try a shot like this one that I took this evening using the Fenix BT20. From your photo, I definitely prefer the double Velcro strap mounting strap...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Two outings in the same day, can't be bad. :) I had hoped that it might have rained tonight, but it sadly stayed dry. I did manage to find some mud to ride through, albeit very unexpectedly, and deeper than I had first thought. If I can get away with it, I'll be heading out for another night...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

What a stunning location. Very nice. :) Both bikes were out were taken out for a play today, as the guy that bought the Macina Fun ladies bike from me, now wants to buy a Bosch powered hardtail eMTB as well. I need very little persuasion when it comes to going out for a play. :)
