Certainly a lovely night for a ride. We decided to head out for some down hill fun in one the local woods, but were sadly disappointed to find that forestry work has commenced, and many of the routes were now temporarily ruined. :( Still good be out though, and I'll probably head out again...

I decided that I'd head out this afternoon to carry out some more trail building. Certainly a good day for it. I also had a quick explore yesterday of some of the outer edges of the 500 acres of private woodland that I have sole rights to ride over. The potential is massive. :)...

First look at the new Woosh 26 x 4 Rio

I probably know of about 15 people that own fat bikes, and not one of them ride the bikes on the road, so I'd say that on that basis that your guess is completely wrong. Having said that, none of those bikes are electric pedal assist, so who knows. As said before they aren't my thing and don't...

First look at the new Woosh 26 x 4 Rio

Just noticed that the rear cassette looks to be quite high geared for an mtb styled bike. That might be something to think about altering for lower gearing.

First look at the new Woosh 26 x 4 Rio

I happen to prefer straight bars, and run them on all three of my bikes. I've played around with other set ups, but always come back to straight bars. I could well be in the minority with that though. I don't think that it would be a deal breaker come purchase time, nor the stem. If the guard...

First look at the new Woosh 26 x 4 Rio

The comment by Kangooroo, shows straight away that we all think differently, and what might not appeal to one person, might appeal to another. You could perhaps offer the rack and mudguards as a no cost option, and show a photo on the website of both set ups. The paint and graphics finish on...

First look at the new Woosh 26 x 4 Rio

Afraid that I am with Nealh. I'm sure that it is very good value for money, but fat bikes do nothing at all for me, and that is speaking across all bike brands, not just this one. :) If fat bikes did appeal, then I wouldn't want the rack, side stand or mudguards. The writing on the tyre side...

    SolarStorm x2

Steve, why not just buy a second light light the same as the one that D8veh recommended and that you already own? I mounted the mini light onto the side of an old helmet a couple of nights ago, held on with Haibike ties, dragged out a four cell battery pack that had been laying on the shed...

    New bike for the winter

Add to that premature wear and tear of components, and never ending cleaning of clothes. I can't blame you at all, last winter seemingly went on far too long. Enjoy the new ride. :)

    E-Bikes on Strava

I find that often when you set the ride to ebike, it appears to save it, then either the bike that you have detailed changes or the ride listing reverts back to a normal ride, and you have to do it again.

    E-Bikes on Strava

Strava is a very useful addition to a ride when used correctly, as in ensuring that all rides are listed as ebike. Users such as SW don't do pedelec/ebike riders as a whole any favours, by repeatedly ignoring requests to list rides as ebike, then removing flags when the ride has been flagged. It...

It's a Haibike, a cable tie will quickly have that sorted. :D

Is the warranty transferable? You might want to check that first before including that statement in any advert.

    ICEdot crash sensors

I'm not too sure about the crash sensor. I probably take a slight knock to the top of the helmet from low branches and undergrowth perhaps once or twice a week, and for my part, wonder how long that it would be, before the sensor also took a knock and became dislodged. It is one of the reasons...

How much is a Bosch 500w battery worth?

Not something that I would agree with, and certainly not when payment has been made using Paypal. Either way £500.00 is definately overpriced. At £300.00 you might get a sniff at it, but who knows. A second hand battery with no warranty is quite a gamble.
