How much is a Bosch 500w battery worth?

But that then makes it even more of a gamble for the buyer. At least buying from Ebay and paying using Paypal, they would have protection against it being faulty.

    ICEdot crash sensors

I'll take a look a bit later. :) Using the key words ICE and tag, I did a quick Google images search to try to find the tag that I have, and was suprised by what is out there and available now.

How much is a Bosch 500w battery worth?

Not trying to be negative, but I'd have thought that £500.00 for a battery that has done nearly a 1,000 miles, has no Bosch warranty, and no postage is on the high side. I'm guessing that most people would sooner pay the extra £150.00 for a new one from a dealer, with a full manufacturers...

    ICEdot crash sensors

I've had an ICE tag fitted to the side of my helmet for about three years now (not the same helmet) And like you, think that it is a good idea. I also have a gps location app on the phone, which sends a message to an allocated number. Obvioulsy that is reliant upon you being able to do so. I...

Small day ride off road, may not be me riding :)

Adam Morewood was the lad that I was thinking of the other day. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Adam+Morewood+ It seems odd watching the eary clips to that of the 2016 clips. A very talanted lad.

    Another tale of Punctures

Sorry I was refering to many of the written instruction. It is a very important aspect. I buy it in a 5 litre container, along with a sack of lint free cloth from a company called Bags Of Rags. No workshop should be without both. :)

    Another tale of Punctures

If you do decided to tackle this job yourself, don't forget to buy some isopropyl alcohol cleaner and lint free cloth, to thoroughly wipe down and clean the rim before starting. It seems to be something that never gets mentioned.

    Another tale of Punctures

Phill, do the job properly or not at all. The adhesive used in electrical tape will sooner or later fail, and rim tape needs to be the specific width for your rim. Electrical tape won't be the correct width, and I'd suggest choosing where you take advice from wisely. Just two examples of rim...

    Another tale of Punctures

Both KTM's came with a tubeless valve set. It might be worth you checking through any tools and literature that must have come with your bike to see if you have the same. As for the tubeless set up. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/to-go-tubeless-or-not-to-go-tubeless.24080/ .

    Another tale of Punctures

Kind of in respect of a very thin bead that goes rubberised over time, but I've never found that it causes an issue to remove the tyre. OE tyres can really become stuck fast to the rim, which I am certain is what you are sadly experiencing. I'm really not trying to come across as being doom and...

    Another tale of Punctures

Afraid that it simply means that the tyres can be fitted with a tubeless conversion. The wheel set might also have tubeless compatable written on them, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are tubeless ready. You need to let the tyre down, break the seal and take a look.

    Another tale of Punctures

Sadly my money is on it being flat again by the morning, and that it isn't a tubeless set up. I'd say that it more likely that the bead was just stuck fast to the rim, and that you have just somehow sealed the hole in the tube against the tyre.

Commuting to work on an EAPC. Sweat free and effortless!

I was struggling to substitute the word "work" for 'attend'. I can understand the confusion. :( Seven models, that is pretty impressive. There is an OSET dealer very close to me, but it has beena couple of years since I have been in the place. As for growing up, where would be the fun in...

Commuting to work on an EAPC. Sweat free and effortless!

Not a chance. :) I have zero interest in them, and for the most part, would in no way aid my off road riding. An Oset trials bike would be good fun in there though. :)

    The new best headlight

Clearly not in my case, and nowhere have I made reference to capacity. I paid about £8.00 for my six cell pack which is now on it's third winter season of use, and I guess has already given given me about 4,000 plus miles of off road use, and a very conservative guess of 350 hrs hours of use...

I have no idea who your comment was directed at, but if it were at me... Given that no claim is made in respect of what make, authenticity or brand that the batteries are, what is your comment suppossed to mean?

Commuting to work on an EAPC. Sweat free and effortless!

My commute has just become even more fun. On Sunday morning I was given sole rights to ride on 500 acres of private woodland. This woodland also just happens to be in the right location for me to incorporate it into my commute. :) Hard to believe that all this mud is just from two days of...

    The new best headlight

I still don't see that as an issue. As said before, I am now on my third winter season of using the same batteries as you, and I am still getting an evening of riding use from them without having them run flat. It is seemingly only one person on here that has an issue with them.
