eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Brilliant right up Highside. :) Nice to see someone put their mony where their mouth is so to speak, and actually ride down hill, instead of just taliking about it. You certainly have more balls than me. :) Cross country/enduro yes, but not down hill. You made me laugh about your supersport...

A rare piece of history - Swizzbee

Even I'm tempted now. It is worth buying just to squirrel it away somewhere.

Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

Yep, it was an unnecessary comment which helped no one. The same as your latest as well.

Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

Which reminds me of this thread and the comments left. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/major-problems-with-bosch-performance-system.23375/ Quite some time back and purley by chance, I found out more about this case, and what the OP neglected to state was that the bike was in a terrible...

    Time for a tyre change?

You slipped up by not selling the bike before the tyre had worn out, and needed replacing. Schoolboy error. :(

How sad and embarrassing is that. I live about 26 miles away from you but can recognize a piece of woodland from just a few photographs. I actually rode through there a couple of weeks ago, and it was the photo with the roots that I recognised. I recall thinking at the time, about just...

How much is a Bosch 500w battery worth?

In respect of selling it, can you prove the condition of the battery and how many charge cycles that it has had? Those could be two key factors in relation to pricing it. I'll give you £50.00 and take a chance on it. ;)

I forgot to add that the woodland that you first showed, reminded me of Three Cornered Copse, Nr West Blatchington.

The SJ4000 actually takes suprisingly good still camera shots. :) They have slight fish eye appearance, but that seems to add to them. Sadly possibly too small and fiddly as a main camera though. edit.. you beat me to it. :)

I pretty much always carry a camera around in my pocket. My phone is crap for them, so most of the time I carry one of these. http://www.tesco.com/direct/fuji-xp70-digital-camera-orange-164mp-5x-optical-zoom-27-lcd-screen-underwater-camera/328-8028.prd The novelty value of placing it underwater...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Some of the best riding can be found on your own door step. :) I guess that I am pretty spoilt in some respects, as I have several very good areas to ride in my neck of the woods. Some are official, and some sadly not. Hornshurst offers some very good down hill hill stuff to ride, as does the...

eMTB owners photo and ride thread.

Hi Chris, sorry the full suspension comment wasn't meant to be directed towards anyone else.. I was just rambling on about thoughts towards my own bike use. So sorry if I caused confusion. :) I do know what you mean though, and my own arthritic joints often feel it the next day after riding the...

    The new best headlight

I haven't said that it isn't perfect for that use. I agree that it is, and still recommend buying one. If you took the time to actually read what I have written, then you would have noticed that. :) I know what you are saying, but it has never been an issue with the Fenix. Sadly as said...

I have spent the last two evenings out testing the front light that d8veh has been recommended, and my opinion of it has been very much dampened. It is a very good light, but fails when it comes to trying to tackle tight technical terrain at speed. It just isn't up to the job, and I suffered one...

Small day ride off road, may not be me riding :)

I just remembered this one as well. :) Scarily, she looks so much like my own daughter. So much skill. Seth's Bike Hacks is a brilliant source of info that can be carried across to mtb/eMTB use.

    Bosch motor failure

You should really be checking the tightness of the isis crank bolt as part of a regular maintenance regime.

Small day ride off road, may not be me riding :)

Which has absolutley nothing to do with trials/street trials or the thread. Neil, the music is by Band Of Horses. There as some very talented young street trials riders out there at the moment, probably inspired by the likes of Danny. If I can find the clip, there is a ten year old...

Hello Pedelec community a future E-bike rental place would like your input.

It is also very seasonal, so potentially you could have four to six minths of the year when no one wants to ride. I looked into buying eMTB's some time back, as an opportunity arose to take wealthy Americans on guided tours of the South Downs. I came very close to taking the idea on board...
