Fold 2 times smaller than the brompton!!

Yeah, weight is the only issue with this bike.... Brompton initially doesn't look nice to ride, but actually it is. I can't imagine yet how it would look like with a dual cute on this little bike :)

Fold 2 times smaller than the brompton!!

Guys, My new discovery: 12'' Super Folding Bike Bicycle City Bike Portable | eBay This little bike fold so small! And it rolls once folded. Prefect for multimodal communting!! Steel frame!! Prefect for electrification!! Would love to electrify it for my next project! Too sad I have to move...

    Professional ebike consultancy charges

If only batteries were 2-3 times lighter and 2 times cheaper, the market could really grow. I've seen recently a friend remaining distance after a full charge... 950km!!!! That was for a normal car, but you can clearly see the difference between an electric bike that will struggle to do 50km...

    Professional ebike consultancy charges

I've been thinking recently about ways to handle the additional battery weight on the brompton on other area than the front bag. With an additional 12kg of battery+controller+bag on the front, handling isn't that nice and control not that smooth. Was also thinking on a "wiring framework" to...

    Brompton carrier modification

I went to B&Q today to get a refund on the Worx Saw. They refused it because apparently it was used... But I only used it once!!! I thought they had a 45 days return policy, but that's completely untrue!!!

    Indicator lights

I purchased these light and they are crappy crap! don't buy them and quality is really cheap. I use Hobby king amber led light for my indicators and it works flawlessly. It however takes time to solder everything together and people don't immediately recognize it as indicators...

90% of my ebike issue come from the wires

Thanks guys. I've always soldered thin wires with lot of solder + glue lined heat shrink with thin wires... but they tend to snap. Actually they snap at anypoint. I've been thinking about protecting them with a bigger heatshrink covering everything. What connectors do you use for crimping...

90% of my ebike issue come from the wires

For space and clutter. Something like the throttle or hall wires don't need to be big.

90% of my ebike issue come from the wires

D8veh, why crimping is better for thin wire? In my experience thin wires tend to snap with crimping. Bigger wire work better (for me) when crimping because you have a better crimping area

Finally bought a smaller folder for conversion...

Stairs are my worst horror.... I can't avoid them and they make my life such a pain! Without them I'd probably have a 50 kg brompton!! But for now, my bike is "only" 30 kg  One day, I'll manage to implement something like this for my brompton...

Finally bought a smaller folder for conversion...

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D: No worries John! I just purchased this one as spare as it is cheaper to buy a second hand bike and get the spare from it rather than buying new spares lol But I'm still a bit crazy, there are too many bikes with me now lol

Finally bought a smaller folder for conversion...

You have to test the jetstream and see if you prefer the full size or the folder one. I know I tried the jetstream but the suspension were too stiff for me... Even though it apparently help on cycling efficiency. I loved much more the nice air suspension of my full size bike at this time...

    New Battery

Morphix, this lipo pack is cheap but too low on capacity. You probably don't want to use it for ebike as it has only 11.1V*2.2AH=24.42WH. So to have an equivalent energy of a 36V10AH pack, you would need 360/24= 15 pack to harness in order to make it work. Imagine pluggin together 15 battery...

Finally bought a smaller folder for conversion...

Dahon jetstream for 250££?? That's a deal!!! If you have enough room, I advise you to keep both bike as both have different purpose: - Dahon jetstream for smooth ride - Mezzo for folding ability (although the brompton is better in this class). The good thing about the Mezzo is that it's...

    Brompton carrier modification

I already have a dremel 4000 that is able to sand, grind, drill, cut. I'm planning to replace it with a proxxon rotary tool because it's much more precise. My initial cut on the polycarbonate sheet was with the dremel. The plastic cut was horrible, not straight at all and the plastic melted...
