    And the kitchen sink

Just added a few more bits to the list in readiness for the Swiss trip. Not all to be carried. ;) A couple more spare tubes. Spare tyre. Track stand. Track pump. Shock pump. More cable ties. Another spare chain, so making two spare. More spare links, so making four spare. 30ml spray bottle of...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Just clocked that I'm staying at the below overnight on my way down to Switzerland. It would be rude not to go out for a relaxing evening play in the local woodland. :) I might have to contact this lad to see if he lives in the area and ask if he could show me some of the routes. I've driven...

    Punctures............

I was running a Stans tubeless set up, but gave up with Stans after the fluid kept balling up after just a few months. I had already heard and read that this could be an issue with it, but choose to ignore the warnings. It appears that Joes eco sealant is the way to go. Soundwave, why do you...

    Like riding through the woods?

SRS Be very careful if you ride in Friston as well. I went there recently, and didn't really enjoy it, as my mind was more focussed on looking for wires, than it was on the riding. You also have someone in your area lacing food with rat poison and leaving out for dogs to eat. :(

    Thule pin adapter/socket

I'm slightly confused about something. I thought that I had best fit and check the Thule EuroClassic 928 G6 LED bike rack, before venturing off to the Swiss alps in 5wks weeks time, and discovered that the two sockets between the car and the rack aren't compatible. The Thule manual lists an...

    50 cycles - misleading advertising

What I don't understand is why the forum moderators/admin haven't moved the thread to somewhere else. It shouldn't be in "Site announcements, feedback and support" It's pretty much the thread that hits you in the face when looking at the forum menu, and it shouldn't be.

    bosch or kallkoff?

I still like the idea of doing this, but perhaps it could be adapted to test for hill climbing ability as well. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/battery-bike-range-test.19808/#post-246879 I was over there a couple of weeks ago, and noted that there is a now a weekly hill climbing...

    bosch or kallkoff?

Slightly misleading. I can't ever recall coming across an unfit, overweight club rider, especially one that had been training for an event.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I don't need one. :) I'm not interested in raising the gearing. :)

Richie Schley gets the beer on a ROTWILD

I'm not even going to click to start either of those. I'm already feeling robbed, without adding further to things.

The charging lead might get in the way, and pull you off, but yep I guess so. ;) No, afraid not. .

Slight concern over Kalkhoff / 50cycles / Focus posts

Personally I wouldn't worry. They have been trading for 12 years, and would have fallen by the way side a very long time ago had the service not been any good. Batteries can be an issue what ever the make. I had two duff ones on the BH and I have had two duff batteries on the current Bosch...

    BH Revo with Brose Drive

Haven't they been trying to promote the Bosch motor on some of the 2015 range. I wonder if this to run alongside, or in place of for 2016.

Richie Schley gets the beer on a ROTWILD

I think that you can fit a spare bottle battery, but agree that it isn't much good if you can't. Making a video of useful things such as that would just be silly though.

Richie Schley gets the beer on a ROTWILD

Crap isn't it! I think that you mean anti advertising, not advertising. As promotional videos go, both the Rotwild clips enter the minus points, and I'd rather have teeth pulled without anaesthetic than have to sit through that again. Do us all a favour James, and never post another one. I...

Richie Schley gets the beer on a ROTWILD

The last video just showed nothing but AMG Mercedes, and even in this one, you don't get to see the bike for the first 3 minutes. I gave up at that point and didn't watch any more. Why don't they just make a movie clip about the bike. If this is supposed to inspire potential customers, I can...

High-end second hand Bosch 2013 or new 2015

Not knowing where you are in Switzerland, this could be too far away for you, but Imboden Bike Shop in lauterbrunnen stock Haibike, and had a very reasonably priced 2nd hand bike outside some time back. I couldn't tell you which model though. There is also a bike/sport shop in Interlaken that...

    Punctures............

What has impressed me with the WTB's is their mud plugging ability. To keep clearing and griping in conditions such as this, is pretty good. I'm a fan of Pannaracer Fire Pro's and would have gone for those before fitting the WTB's but at the time, there weren't any 650b fitment available...
