    Now this looks appealing.

Mark it wasn't your bad translation at all. :) It just isn't very clear until you try to enter the event, then it is explained in more detail. I couldn't even work out how much that it cost to enter the event! What is interesting is that racing invalidates the Bosch warranty, but this 'slight'...

Stealth bomber arrived this week with a 5400w motor

Steve, just out of interest and nothing more than that, did you look at the e-Volz trail before making your decision? http://voltz-bikes.info/ I just seem to recall that Lee and his brother both purchased Stealth's, and by memory Lee had issues with his, and those issues culminated in the...

    Which is the best Bosch/Yamaha/Shimano

I don't think that anyone could argue with that statement, but oddly it's surprising just how quickly that you get used to it, then don't even give second thought to it.

    Which is the best Bosch/Yamaha/Shimano

The advantage is in the front sprocket size. But in defence of Bosch and based solely upon my own recent experience, the warranty and after care downtime for a repair was measured in days, when compared with months (BH) so couldn't be faulted. I also have no doubt that Martin wouldn't...

    KTM Corner

Caught out this morning after having spent many hours and hundreds of miles over the best part of the last two months, secretly identity wise, carrying out a good deed using both the pedal mtb and the e-mtb. After being spotted, I was shoved very quickly in front of the camera before I could...

Is 28mph too fast for a pedelec?

Good photo Artstu, just hope they all continue into the future cycling. :) Which is the main reason that I'm enjoying my peddle mtb so much. .

    Now this looks appealing.

Exactly, which is why I said.... "I can dream" Having said that, there is talk of getting a team together to do this. http://www.enduresaddlesore.com/ No e-mtb's but I'm not worried about that aspect of things, as I'm now using the e-mtb less and less, and using the pedal mtb more and more. My...

    Now this looks appealing.

There is no way that my knees could handle it, but this is very tempting. http://www.24hrace-stuttgart.de/en/674-premiere-24h-ebike-rennen.html I can dream. .

Electric Bikes on the Gadget Show

You could have cut the shot to just above the waist. It's before 9.00pm, and I feel ill now. :( ;) It must be the month for e-bikes and TV/media. Slightly early days, but it looks as though my KTM might be heading for a bit of positive publicity in the way of being on BBC news. I'll let you...

Cube reaction hybrid pro29, first impressions

You can always swap out for a 42 tooth sprocket. http://www.oneupcomponents.com/products/42-tooth-sprocket Crazy money for an added wear component though.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Another night ride and sadly not the best of photos. The weather was horrendous, with very strong wind, and horizontal rain. Then the fog came down, and I could barley see 3 metres in front of the bike. Still better than being stuck indoors though. Different colour mud for a change. This shot...

    springer front end?

How about 'girder' front forks. There is an American company that make them cycle specific, and as soon as I can remember the name, I'll post it up. Might also be worth looking at 'leading link' front forks, and 'low rider' springer front fork. A quick search threw up some very basic chopper...

    Brake noise

I haven't yet tried it, but I have been told that dry ceramic chain lube works very well on the locks. I really ought to give it a try, as every single use of the lock is a nightmare.

Tool kit, Servicing and Maintenance question

My 'take with me' kit did consist of this little lot, http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/and-the-kitchen-sink.19998/ but the energy gels have now been dropped in favour of energy bars, para cord has also been added, as has a small fold up saw and a spare mini rear light that is clipped to...

    Do puncture resistant tires work?

Surely that has everything to do with the inner tube rather than the tyre.

Crazy cheap prices on ebay out of Hong Kong

I recently bought some of the following lights, which are proving to be very durable and are seemingly putting up with all of my abuse, including mud and hosing down again. It's crazy to think that you can get them for prices ranging from £1.00 upwards including batteries and P&P...

New bofeili mid drive mountain ebike

The main thing that would put me off is the integrated display. It stops the rider from ever changing the handlebar and stem should they so desire. Whilst I hate most consoles that are fitted to e-mtb's, integration such as that is not the way to go. Attractive looking bike though. Is that...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Things turned slightly wet and muddy again for this mornings quick 20 mile ride. At least the rain that started towards the end of the ride, made the bike easy to clean. Slippery when wet! Note the sideways skid marks that were made when the front end let go a bit. Clipless pedals are...

Electric Bikes on the Gadget Show

Wasn't the Voltz e-bike on there a year or so ago? (VoltzeTRAIL) edit, found a quick clip of it. And one of the Cytronex.

    eBike of the year. Cycling.be

Congratulations. :) Good to also see that the Di2 has proven to be such a success. Just need the Myroon to be up there now. :)
