    KTM Corner

Both bikes were out for a play yesterday when my brother-in-law popped up from Wales. He didn't take much persuading to take the e-mtb, and returned from the ride all set to go back to Wales to research and order up a KTM e-mtb. :) It was a really good fun ride, and of course being Xmas had the...

    Cleats on. MTB

You aren't wrong. They keep your feet toasty warm, and are excellent at repealing water. Sadly I have already had to wade through shin deep water in them, so obviously they then fill up with water which can't then escape, but carrying the bike across water, isn't something that I regularly...

Show me a stylish alternative to the BH NEO Race.

Blimey this is an old thread to have resurrected. How things have changed. The CDF happens to be one of my favourite of all time bikes. Quite a classic. I went out for a ride yesterday with my brother-in-law, with him taking the Macina e-mtb and myself on the Ultra 1964. I have to say that I'm...

    eZee e-Rex Fatboy Prototype

Just spotted something even worse about it. It's constructed from box section steel. What's that all about? It now reminds me of something that a secondary school student, might cobble together in a metal work class. Afraid that the marks out of ten, have now gone straight into the minus...

    eZee e-Rex Fatboy Prototype

The frame geometry on the bike as shown just looks so wrong. The head angle also doesn't quite look slack enough, and the stem angle also just doesn't work. Marks out ten.. Being blunt, zero I'm afraid. I hated fat bikes when they first arrived on the scene, but they have slowly grown on me...

Another ride on the KTM lined up this coming weekend

You should have said SRS, all that I could see was your bum in front of me! The next one is a very good one. Amberley chalk pits on the 28th Feb. TC, as SRS has said, it more slippery than muddy, but what mud that there was, stuck like glue. At one point, my rear wheel wouldn't even...

Another ride on the KTM lined up this coming weekend

Well that came around quickly. :) Things didn't quite go according to plan for today's ride that myself and SRS took part in. We missed the course split, and very annoyingly ended up completing the shorter 22 mile route. We can only assume that someone must have been stopped in front of the...

haibike 2015 issue.. simple questions.. Can you help me?

I'm guessing that you have been sent a rear derailleur hanger. I haven't watched the following clip, but it might be a starting point for you, in respect of finding others. :) Also sorry to hear about your injury, and hope that you are on the mend soon. :) Going by memory, on the side of...

New eBike centre in Mold - Mold eTrails - featuring KTM bikes

I haven't had trouble with the chain jumping off! The photo that I posted up was of someone else's KTM that had an additional sprocket fitted, and nothing more. It was Martin that chose to say that the sprocket jumping was an issue, not me. There was in fact no chain jumping. On the Haibike...

New eBike centre in Mold - Mold eTrails - featuring KTM bikes

BMC, I have only just spotted your signature. Assuming that you are a fan of hub drives, and don't fancy crank drive, then you can automatically rule out Haibikes, and look instead at Panasonic powered KTM eLycan P range. You certainly wouldn't be disappointed, especially now that the battery...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I've always been lucky, and can eat like a horse, yet remain roughly at a constant 12.5 stone. I guess that what being self employed and worry does for you! Buying and using the e-mtb, has definitely helped with the joint issues, and I now use a pedal only KTM mtb, which is just as much...

New eBike centre in Mold - Mold eTrails - featuring KTM bikes

Depends on how you view it. ;) bmc, the comment was tongue in cheek, and to save derailing the thread, I'll save my opinion for another thread. :) Try both, compare the spec, then compare the price on a like for like basis. I very much suspect that orange and black wins. :)

    Suspension Seatpost

Hi pat, you have a PM. :) In relation to the upgrade, I can definitely say yes. I had an LT on one bike and the ST on another. To me there was quite a marked difference between the two, and the LT is far more forgiving, and just seemed to function better.

New eBike centre in Mold - Mold eTrails - featuring KTM bikes

Seems to be both a very good idea, and sensible business plan. I hope that it goes well for them. Nice to see that they selected the best e-mtb bike brand for the job as well. ;)
