Thanks Bob. It was ridden with no assist where possible, eco which I have up until recently felt a waste of time, two hills in tour, and the climb that I never made it up was unsuccessfully tackled in turbo mode. I returned with one bar remaining on the battery.

    Yesterday's ride was a tough one. http://www.strava.com/activities/232120737 http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/ktm-corner.19044/page-8#post-245156 .

Where has all the cheap bikes gone?

It's because Jonathan75 keeps over inflating the price of bargain bikes. :( http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/dodgy-ebay-listing.19676/page-4#post-245153 .

Thanks TK. :) I'm reading "wimpy" as being sensible. :) I think that the highlight of the day was talking to the farmer. I was also quite disgusted by some of the antics that he was telling me that mtb riders get up to across his land. from riding where they blatantly shouldn't across arable...

Something very wrong with my bike!

Is the following from todays ride better. :) http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/ktm-corner.19044/page-8#post-245156 The bike has a rear puncture and it's out again on Xmas day with someone else riding it, and I really couldn't face cleaning it until then, so whilst it was up on the work...

    Puncture repair?

I'd still be removing it to check, as you know that it will fail at the worst possible time. It'll only take you minutes. :) .

    KTM Corner

Annoyingly carried into a second post. Then back to Alfriston again. I'd love to open an e-bike shop here. Next ride is on Xmas day, with both KTM's out for a play again. Myself on the pedal Ultra 1964, and my cousin on the Macina Lycan GPS + .

    KTM Corner

Well todays ride proved to be an interesting one. :) I thought that I'd have a ride out from Alfriston and do a very loop around, taking in Newhaven and the sounding areas. I drove the 25 miles down to Alfriston, and was a away pedalling by about 8.00am. My intentions of riding a large loop...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Wander, I went out for ride last weekend on the pedal bike, whilst my brother-in-law rode the e-mtb. I have to say that I thoroughly loved every second it. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/ktm-corner.19044/page-7#post-244423 My cousin, and very keen road cyclist is joining me for ride on...

Hang on, so one of you decided to cut the rest of us out, and buy it outside of Ebay! Now there is a breach of Ebay rules if ever I heard one. I can only hope that the deal falls through and that it gets relisted. .

It was nowhere near London! I've not had my vaccinations to go anywhere remotely close to the place!:D Is that really what it is showing? It should be this.

Something very wrong with my bike!

Not quite, but you were in the right area. I've had to resort to carrying a metal hook/pick inside of plastic tube, to clean the crap out from besides the front sprocket. The pick can be seen on the table in the workshop photo.

    Dodgy Ebay Listing

That's what comes with celebrity status. ;) As Ebay haven't pulled the advert despite being informed by many, at least the high price should prevent any genuine potential bidder from getting it. I like Dave's idea though. :)

Something very wrong with my bike!

That's such a shame. :( It's probably also the same people that discard litter besides bins in public places, rather than actually lean forward a further 6" to drop it in.

    Puncture repair?

It is. :) You still require a cassette/bottom bracket tool to remove the cassette from the free hub body though. If your cassette etc does come off, it's no big deal, but just make sure that there is no grit or other debris between the faces of the components when you press it back on again...
