Has anyone fitted a Hobson Pro-Hub x2 saddle?

GMM, a suspension seat post might also help. I have one fitted to both of my bikes, and although I'm currently thinking of removing the one from the MTB, I have to say that they are very efficient. I'm only thinking of removing the MTB one, as I feel that it is absorbing my pedal strokes when...

    Woosh - more dreadful service

Josh, had this been a thread about BH sending anything, I'd have said worry, but you have no need to.

Has anyone fitted a Hobson Pro-Hub x2 saddle?

Why would a dropper seat post improve on road comfort? They aren't suspension seat posts.

    Woosh - more dreadful service

To think that simply putting the customers contact telephone details onto the information strip, could and probably would have prevented all of this from happening. Sadly it seems that for a courier company to operate an efficient service, much is dependent upon whoever is actually making...

    Sales figures

A very misguided opinion. Quantity does not always equal quality. A bit like forum posts. ;) .

    Toughest ride of my life

Yes and no really. I've managed to sneak out and do three rides so far, and I have to admit that upon the return from each, I've looked at Strava and thought that I must have ridden double the distance that I had. I was grateful for not having the battery when I had to carry the bike, and...

    Toughest ride of my life

Thanks TK. :) I'm struggling about uploading photos etc using the mobile, but hopefully this first one of the rough terrain will work.

Does an E-Bike make things too easy?

I'd say not. It's just a different discipline that opens new or extended possibilities for riding enjoyment. Buying my e-bike gave me confidence to get off my backside and ride, and over the last year of riding, my fitness has increased. You get just as tired, but to a degree the riding distance...

    Does size really matter?

In my very non professional capacity, I can only say that you shouldn't rely on your current commuting route to decide upon which battery size is best. Things/circumstances have a nasty habit of changing when least expected. I'd suggest, establishing a budget price for bike purchase, research...

    Toughest ride of my life

Toughest, because I didn't have an e-bike with me! :( 22.5 miles, pretty much all off road with an elevation gain of 5,290ft and a maximum elevation height of 5,646ft. About quarter of the way into the ride out here in Switzerland, I met some hikers who's reaction was " Oh my God, you must be...

    Check your nuts

I've had the rear wheel on the Haibike come out from the dropouts on three separate occasions. The problem was down to crap market stall quality OE nuts. The problem stopped the momment that I replaced both nuts with quality items.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

This is proving hard work! I borrowed the bike from the neighbour of the people that we are staying with. I spent a bit of time riding, then watched a group of Americans base jumping. There was one very near miss when a lad in wing suit nearly ploughed into another jumper just as his shoot...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

First day on my hols in Switzerland and I have spotted this. The shop is rammed with 5k plus pedal bikes, but this is the only e-bike. It's outside in the rain unloved.

Sadly not. I now have yet another warranty claim logged! :( I also have a hankering for a cyclo cross bike. Genisis look good.

    Bosch chain came off.....

If you are riding on rough terrain, I'd also think about a clutch rear derailleur. It eliminated this issue completely from the BH, where as the Haibikes chain frequently jumps on rough terrain. I must add that this is absolutely no fault of Haibike or the system. Just my use of the bike. I...
