    KTM ebikes.........anyone use one?

Please stop teasing me!!!!!!!!! :( I might well venture up for dribbling over the bike session. :) KTM have really moved the goal posts this year, not only with pedelecs, but with pedal only bikes as well. They certainly seem on a mission to get more than their share of the market, and given...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I think that it had more to do with tyre pressures. They were miles too high yesterday evening, as I had them set for road use rather than anything else. I'd set them at 60psi, not really intending to ride off road, but couldn't resist just turning off, and then forgot to drop them again to...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

The KTM certainly does have fantastic battery range. :) The BH has never been that great in respect of this, but I'm certain that having no difference between the power settings is the main cause of my issues. Although I leave it eco, it's more likely to be running at standard/boost/sport...

I don't think that you can go wrong with Schwalbe tyres. They seem to make consistently good tyres whatever the use.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

TK, I decided that I had better test the BH this evening, and was reminded of one piece of advice to give you. This probably isn't at the right stage of your riding to tell you this, or even suggest that you do it, but speed will carry over or through most things. Having confidence not to back...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Fantastic write up TinKitten. More please:) And what a brilliant area to get to ride in as well. Although I'm across in Sussex, my favourite pub is in your approximate neck of the woods. http://www.gooseandcuckoo.com/ Next time that I'm down your way visiting my sister, I might well pop by for...

Do You Wear Full Face Helmet?

Try and get a copy of the Rose Bikes catalogue, they have plenty of choice including helmet mirrors. Here are a few. http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/search/find/?q=mirrors

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I can't dispute that Rob and can fully accept it, but this bike has suffered persistent error codes from day one. The issue for me is how I have been treated over the last year, and the lack of any end user support and poor communication from BH UK. You only have to look through other threads to...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Time had passed, so I couldn't add this as edit to the above. I have now collected the bike, and would firstly thank BH UK for repairing it for me. The brake cable, was noted as being possibly being internally broken when I took the bike in for repair, but I had no knowledge that the main wire...

    2015 KTM with Shimano STEPS

Black frame, with orange stripes leading from frame across the battery, with just an orange KTM logo, would be fine.

Redbrige - ebike day - Sunday 24th August

Nice idea, but this event might put pay to many traders turning up. http://www.eurobike-show.com/eb-en/ The dates could be too close to make it work.

    2015 KTM with Shimano STEPS

The one aspect that I wouldn't be keen on, is that it appears to have a touch screen console. I'm afraid that I consider touch screen to be a mistake on anything other than mobile phones. In my opinion, It's not going to cope with wet gloves or fingers, which is an aspect that plagues Garmin sat...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Hi Andy, Sadly as you know I didn't have good phone reception on the two occasions that I spoke to you, and was barely only getting every other word. But don't worry I shall be writing something positive for you after I have collected the bike and ridden it. I shall also be doing the same for BH...

    30mph Legal Electric Bike

Slightly different. I can't quite kick my habit and love of MC's but don't want a conventional one anymore, and have been thinking about building an electric one using a small capacity petrol engined bike. A couple of days ago, I spotted one of these 125's with a blown up engine, and an owner...

My next project. Wood fired bread/pizza oven

Many thanks Dave, but I have already bought the materials to make it myself. :( That would certainly have been an easier option for me, and a damn sight less time consuming for sure.

Did anyone go out to watch the Tour de France

At 48yrs old, I've never watched more than a few minutes of a football game, never even seen an F1 race as my interest in cars is zero, but when it comes to the TDF, for some reason I just can't get enough of it. :) The best stages for me, are always the mountain stages, and I freely admit...

My next project. Wood fired bread/pizza oven

Just thought some of you might be interested in a project that stalled a year ago when I bought the BH, but have now decided to get my backside into gear and start again with. A wood fired bread/pizza/slow roast oven. I constructed the base work aspect of the project pretty much bang on a year...

Haibike SL29 pedals spinning no chain movement

SRS, you certainly seem up against it of late. What with one bike being stolen, and now this. :( I'd offer you the BH, but it would prove just as un reliable as the Bosch motor! :D Martin comes across as being one of the good guys, and I'd like to think that he must be able to offer you a...
