My R&M Charger GT is just about perfect. It's never surged.

Whoa! I don't know where you live, but I live in a small parish outside of Ringwood -- nothing but bungalows and septuagenarians. The last incidence of anti-social behaviour was seven years ago when some yobs stomped on some daffodils growing on a neighbour's verge.

I think a lot of the Charger GT's geometry is adapted to the tires. I wouldn't have anything less.

Your friends seem to be what normal people call "Lycra Louts", what other cyclists call "arrogant and ignorant", and what Texans call "ass holes". Just enjoy being a Pedelecer.

I have the Charger GT Nuvinci with the 49cm frame. It's a tad large for me, too, but I love it.

I think the difference between a 4-pound ordinary bike, and a 50-pound e-bike says it all.

I think there may be too many 'gender fluid' members as it is. Just stay the sweet lass that you are.
