How long should a chain last on a E-MTB

"Your disregard and poor attitude toward correct and proper maintenance."!!!!!!??????? Methinks you need to go back and reread my post and then explain to me where I said or implied any such thing. I need this as I do not wish to make the same offensive posting again. Besides, how could someone...

One aggrees and one disagrees. What part of my post do you not agree with EddiePJ?

How long should a chain last on a E-MTB

If it is not broke, don't fix it. Are you getting any slippage or noise from the chain? If not, there are many more miles left in it. Another consideration is having to have the rear cog or cassette replaced as well. Sometimes a new chain does not marry well with even a slightly worn rear...

    Full carbon E-Bike thoughts?

I would not mind a high end carbon ebike. Yes it would be lighter and have better spec components. You get what you pay for. Presently, I have a Haibike Trekking RC that meets my needs very well. To match the weight and performance of a carbon version, all I have to do is loose the ten pounds I...

Unbelievably bad experience with a Haibike SDURO Trekking S RX

With respect I would counter your point of a 6 week new bike service taking a long time to complete. A 6 week, all inclusive, complimentary service takes about 45 minutes to complete. It is during this check that many components on new bike need to be adjusted and checked as they settle in...

    Sduro fullnine

Got it! Keeping the swing arm bolts and bushings from going awol. It have done that for customers since this came up. Only had one person actually loose one.

    Sduro fullnine

Must have missed the thing about the zip tie issue, no idea what they're on about. The top bracket, where the battery locks, is adjustable. Remove the battery and look at the base of the bracket. Locate the screw and remove it and lift off the lock. There is a plate that can be moved left or...

    Sduro fullnine

The battery clip is adjustable and should be tightened. Other than that it sounds like you're having a blast. I was torn between what you have and the Sduro Trekking RC. Settled on the Trekking as it was more sutable for my needs but not my wants :) Wish I could afford to have both.

0-15mph acceleration of 250W electric bicycle?

Not being funny, I hope, but get on one and find out. That would be my best suggestion for your best answer.

    Yamaha 500w battery 2017

A 400wh battery cost £499 or £1.25 per wh. The 500wh battery featured cost 1.70 per wh. I would go for the extra 400wh and double the range.

    Haibike sDuro FullNine 29 2016 Yamaha 400Wh eMTB Frame 55cm eBike * SOLD/THREAD CLOSED *

Is this a 2015 model? The reason I ask is that 2016 models had four levels of assist (eco plus added). Has it ever had a dongle or modified to exceed 15.5mph? Reardless, the warranty, I do not believe it is transferable. Having said that, it is a good price.

Transport Minster - new cycling policy?

Do you even read what people write? Let me rephrase that, could you understand what people are writing? Go back and read all the posts I wrote. You missed the parts where I said training was a good idea. You have chosen to ingnore the fact that I was involved in an incident recently that was out...

Transport Minster - new cycling policy?

You're not a cyclist, this speaks volumes about your input so far. You really don't have anything to say to those of us that are. Especially those that risk life and limb daily. If I could pick and choose where I travel, I too could ride for years without incident. What happened to me two weeks...

Transport Minster - new cycling policy?

Whom here is blaming drivers for all cycling deaths and injuries? Whom here has said that cycling is not dangerous? Whom here has not said said that cycling infrastructure needs to improve. Just whom is arguing with you on these points. You are doing a great job of regurgitating statistics but...

It would be interesting to see what the root cause analysis of these deaths revealed. Hopefully that information was put to good use in preventing futher loss.

Transport Minster - new cycling policy?

Is this really the best you can do? To insinuate that I may be happy with cyclist deaths, to insinuate that I am not advocating increased safety on the roads, and then side step my direct question by asking me to repeat what I have said in two previous posts on this thread. I get you want...

Transport Minster - new cycling policy?

I am fully on flecc's side of this so called ridiculous argument. Programs such as what London are putting out there is the way forward. Programs that create greater awarness between both drivers and cyclist. The herculean and expensive program of training future cyclists in the obvious would be...
