    G tech rival

I just went back and read more closely. It is a torque system bike. This is an improvement over PAS but still ain't gonna deliver 30 miles on that battery.

    G tech rival

This looks like a clone of the Freego Raptor which, incidently, sold for the same price. The claim of 30 miles range on a 5.8ah battery is quite a leap as well. Freego was wise (maybe) to state a 15 mile range which was more realistic. There were those that got more than that but put more...

    Haibike Sduro electric problem

First I would make sure the display clicks in place when remounting it. You probably have done this but I must mention it just in case. Unless there is an obviously damaged section of exposed wiring, I have no idea. The only other connections are on top of the motor inside the frame. Ask the...

    Haibike sizing

I am 5' 10" with a 30" inside leg length and my Haibike has a 56cm frame. Love it! If you are not going to be doing a lot of technical off road stuff it should be fine at 50cm. You will love the larger geometry of the frame. No, I can not put both feet down at the same time while seated but who...

The Haibike Hardseven with the 35mm frame is also a consideration..........

Torque Sensor - Raleigh Velo Cite

This good news as adjusting the sensor is very hit and miss. I would contact your dealer or Raleigh and request a replacement sensor. Shouldn't be too pricey.

Torque Sensor - Raleigh Velo Cite

The torque sensor can also be adjusted if the recalibration does not work. I have come across this before. Let me know how you get on.

This guy and his Jack Russell. What should I do?

Mix a couple of ounces of vinegar with the water for effect.

    Insulting Message from 50 Cycles

This is a horse that needs to be put back in the stable. I see a lot of unnecessary conflict over a comment. We all say things that rub someone the wrong way but this has gotten out of hand IMO. I'll say no more on this as a good friend once said to me "Better to thought a fool than to open...

Oxygen S-CROSS ST vs Momentum Model T

Two very different bikes is all aspects. I really could not draw a comparison between the two. The only thing that would make me choose the Oxygen is the larger battery and greater range. You mention a one hour commute. Is that by car, bus, train, push bike etc? A distance would be more helpful...

    First ebike advice

Three great quality bikes @ £1,000 spring to mind. The Freego Folder, which has a 30 mile range, the Momentum Model T (step through) and Momentum Upstart (crossbar), which both sport 30/35 mile range. The Model T is a classic sit up and beg and is one of the comfortable bikes I have ever had the...

    Insulting Message from 50 Cycles

In the cold and quiet times of January, cycle shop owners may not have one once of sense of humor left. This seems to be the case with 50 Cycles. I thought d8veh's comment, on the other thread, was very tounge in cheek and humorous. To 50 Cycles I would say that I saw it as nothing negative...

    Haibike cassette replacement

You have an excellent point. I presently have 1,500 miles on my Haibike and there is absolutely no sign or symptom of wear. Yes the chain is wearing as one does but I have no skipping, jumping, or poor gears changes. On my old bike, I replaced the chain and cassette every 2500 miles (8 spd...

    Electric three wheel bikes

Not exactly. I saw one advertised about three years ago and all I know it it was red. It looked like a normal trike but the front half leaned left and right. The tadpole is a recumbant trike, if I am not mistaken, and all the wheels lean as you turn. Is this correct? Is there an electric version?

    Electric three wheel bikes

To answer your question, instead of trying to sell you a trike, yes trikes are difficult to operate on uneven surfaces. I have built 20" and 24" e-trikes and neither were easy to ride. I am an able bodied person and even for me it takes a fair bit of balance and upper body strenght to control...

How long should a chain last on a E-MTB

Sorry about that. I think you get the idea that you have options regarding when you choose to replace your. First and formost, proper maintenance of your chain will maximize its life regardless of operating conditions. There are other threads here that give recommendations on proper chain...
