    Disappointed in Scott

I have a Bosch cx motor fully deristricted and at a cadence of 110 it is doing 32mph and still providing good power. The Yamaha motor at the same cadence fades the power out completely.

Turbo Levo Brose Motor Problem help...

Specialized should have gone with the Bosch cx motor because it is a solid performer and reliable.I had the Kalkhoff impulse motor before the Bosch and i can speak from experience how frustrating it is when motors break down.

    It's finally given up !

50 cycles may still help you out with with warranty because the faults with this motor are well documented.

I like the look of the velomobile because a fairly fit rider can get to incredible speed.

28mph / 45kph pedelec with good range for commuting.

I have two bikes and they both will easily cruise at 30 mph,a Cube carbon with the Bosch CX motor and a Bafang 1500w BBSHD mounted on a specialized MTB. The Cube is for sale 2017 model in the classifieds. The Bafang however is a LOT of fun because of the power paired up with a 20ah battery.

    Bosch Motor Derestriction

It doesn`t work, well to be honest it does for about 10 seconds then shuts down in error mode,i have tried it on the CX Bosch 2016 and 2017 model motors.

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

Don`t buy a torque sensing motor because to get to the power you have to use a lot of muscle force and that will demand oxygen use. A crank motion sensor system is the way to go backed up with a throttle if you start to struggle.

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

Bafang BBSHD would be good,i have one built into a MTB and it will climb any hill with next to no effort. A high quality battery will get the best performance.

    Riding on beaches...tyres etc...

Fat bikes with the oversize tyre width were designed for use on sand and snow to provide a larger footprint on the soft ground.I have seen them riding on Formby beach and in the dunes and they hardly leave any trace where they have been because of the massive tyre width.

still not to sure what to make of bosch ebike system

The OP would be better suited to a cadence sensing system rather than a torque sensing,i have both and find the cadence system more enjoyable but you have to use the correct gears.

From the first of July 1st all official Bosch dealers wil have a new software download for the CX motor only that they have named eMTB. It enables the rider to get more power with less pedal pressure.
