I have a Bafang BBSHD 1500w mid motor MTB and a Bosch CX hybrid and the Bosch is not far behind the Bafang in performance, both great motors. The Bafang has no torque sensor so gives full power with just crank movement sensing.
As new size 19.very little use as i have a bafang that i use more, comes with deristrictor fitted if needed.
Fitted with slicks because it has only had road use, retail £3499 and i will take £2800.
I have just fitted a BBSHD bought from EM3EV who are uk vendors based in china ,good prices and top quality batteries plus great communication and after sales.
The BBSHD is crazy fast and needs a good battery to prevent sag.
I can also add that EM3EV are very good at after sales care and warranty and they have a reputation of building some of the finest batteries available.
I have just fitted a BBSHD to a Specialized mtb, great performance with the 19ah battery.
I bought it from EM3EV who are based in China, very good contact and help from them and i was fortunate to have no import charges.
A Bafang BBSHD crank motor with a high capacity battery in a frame bag fitted to your present bike would be a good option,i have just fitted the same to a Specialized Rockhopper expert.
My 2011 Kalkhoff pro connect had the 36v 350w S class motor and it was superb, very fast and reliable.I even had a deristrictor on it to stop it cutting out at 45km-h.I owned it for three years and used it every day.
Why Kalkhoff implemented the impulse motor is beyond me.
Scott since 2011 i have bought four bikes off 50 cycles all top of the range,i only have a Cube model bike now because of the failures of the impulse motor.I am not a troll and have only quoted facts and also supported your business as well.
All i can see from your comments is that you are doing...
I have respect for 50c as i have bought more than a few bikes off them over the years but it is getting harder to believe what they say is fact or fiction or even fantasy.
