Strange creaking noise when pedalling Scott/Bosch fs mtb.

I've posted noise problems in this area as well. It turns out that the Bosch motor along with drive chain need much more maintenance i.e. cleaning, tightening and lube than any other bike I've ever had. I think you've covered all the areas I would have, but I had another similar problem to you...

My latest and most difficult conversion Trek Top Fuel 9.9 Carbon.

Coming at this from a different angle. Firstly, I can appreciate / admire the effort to convert the Trek. There's many carbon bikes of this spec around (i used to own one, full suss at 23lbs). However, and just imho, not the frame / spec to build on, in terms of what you've ended up with. It's a...

    Chain Noise Grrrrr

I know, but it's crazy really to have to do this kind of maintenance. Anyway, I'm going through process of elimination and e-bike shop said my bike was bought in April 2016 (not the 1st). So plenty of time to look at motor. They can do a bearing upgrade for £60 if required. They said to post...

    Chain Noise Grrrrr

Still working on noise, I'm not expecting silence, but I'm convinced it's a chain type noise rubbing on metal issue. When I was riding last night trying to pin point noise (not easy), it's definitely louder when assist kicks in, but this could just be more tension on chain etc, unless there are...

    anyone using kodi

Interesting thread. I ended up with a synology server which i either download or copy my movies etc too, which the whole house can access via tv, tablet etc. Easy and works well. Must have over 200 movies on there now.

carbon lube too;). Anyway, removed guide (grud catcher) stripped whole drive train down, cleaned, lubed and back together. Sounds better, but noise still there in the background. Maybe, i;m just a perfectionist.:(

    Chain Noise Grrrrr

I've always maintained my bikes, but the drive train on this bike seems much more sensitive to picking up dirt and needing very regular cleaning and lubing of drive chain. I think this is a design flaw, imho. Having to clean and lube possibly less than every 100 miles is crazy. Especially when...

    Chain Noise Grrrrr

This might be a good idea, how did you do it, not sure from pic looks like a small hex hut in middle?. Did you also have chain noise with rubbing?
