My Wife has a 2014 Freego bike....it still performs well.........If I bought an E-bike today...what would be better about it....10 years on?

See it now , just above front forks.......has an 18 in it so I assume 2018...about right. My Wife's has a 14 and a 17...... the bike was bought in '15, so assume imported in 2014. 10 years old.......and still going well......Thanks.

My wife has a 2014 Freego with Full throttle.......perfectly legal. About 2 years ago I bought the same model second hand......how can I tell which year it was built/imported? Freego went bust In 2019 ..........

But Whoosh says they are Legal...

Why is it that Whoosh can sell Bikes with full Throttle?

I bought a S/H Jorvik Classic, 20". Can't get the hang of it at all..as for the throttle getting you up a hill...it's not even walking speed........and If you use the Throttle......Pedal assist cuts out....Is this normal?

Yes, I looked at these before..........they only work if you are separated from the Bike.........I was still on the Bike......but Horizontal....so no help to me.....

Yes, the Alpine has arrive, broken front basket, few scratches & rust. Throttle wire exposed(Rain).....The Seller described it as "Immaculate"......he has offered a £200 rebate........not at all sure what to do......it's massive.

Is it possible to retro fit a Thumb throttle to an ebike that was designed without one?

Yes, I have looked into this.....you can get an "Air Vest"...it attaches to underside of seat and if you fall of bike it inflates like the air bags.....trouble is ..I didn't fall of bike.......it came with me.......seriously looking at fashioning something out of Bubble wrap.....
