Well it's taken me a bit longer than expected to write a review. To recap 103Alex1 sent me a pair of Indic8tors (Home | Indic8or) to try.
Briefly, they work. Raise arm and LED flashes, drop arm LED stops. Vehicles coming from behind definately respond to this, giving me more space. I don't...
I too gave up on my 50th (6 June 2003) after 35 years - started smoking on a Boy Scout camp! 60 this year - not sure how I will mark that - maybe sue the Scouts.
Wow, them Aussies sure are sensitive.
Actually i was trying to make a joke. I have never seen, let alone ridden a Tonaro. I have absolutely no knowledge of the load on their chains and can't say I am in the least envious of their success.
Funkylyn's OP reminded me of the lines from the...
"Are there things to be aware of about riding electric bikes in the rain?"
White Audis were my main problem in yesterday's torrents. Drivers couldn't email and steer in such poor visibilty. :)
Everyone involved in the Titanic industry - the dreadful film, the endless, vacuous documentaries, books, videos etc etc etc. Of course, I would also invite the iceberg!
It's your destiny. Accept it. Write about Bosch Crank DIY, Master Bosch Crank DIY, Love Bosch Crank DIY.
(Sorry, just been listening to 1984 on the radio).
Hi Alex
Thanks. Received Indic8tors OK. So far work fine standing in front of living room fire waving arms up and down. They can't touch you for it.
Will try in earnest next week and report back.
Tried to PM you but your mailbox is full.
Cheers
Bill

"So they've had a stay of execution and a second chance. Motorists are conditioned to take notice of cyclists' hand signals so these actually do make sense to me in a way mounted indicators still leave me a little skeptical. Plus I always have a rack bag on the back and usually panniers too so...
Hi d8veh
You have all the symptoms of the charging fuse in the battery blown, some batteries have it on the outside, others on the inside. There's often two fuses on the battery: charge and discharge, so make sure you found the right one.
Right first time. Blown 5A fuse. Swopped with one...
Thanks for that oigoi.
No throttle.
I will have a look at the sensor, but I am not sure where it should be in the firsr place
Hadn't thought about the brakes. Is there any sure way of checking the switch?

Woe 2 - for those who have read my previous thread. My trusty Urban Mover UM24. The motor has stopped working. Battery fine, battery status shown as full on handlebar power meter. Just nothing happening with motor.
It is a rear wheel hub motor, 26V with VPAC torque sensor.
Last time I...
Woe, woe & thrice woe, as Frankie Howerd used to say. Well so far I have only two woes but I'm sure another will be along shortly.
Woe 1 concerns a BMS battery, Woe 2 my Urban Mover. Neither of which are working. I will post another thread for the Urban Mover. This one is the battery.
I...
