SRAM 2-speed auto shift gear/hub motor

Years ago I had a Mobylette moped that had this 4mph business. At first you had to pedal to 4mph to turn the engine over to get it firing. That was hard enough. Then, even with the engine running, the automatic clutch would not engage until you got it up to 4mph. Frankly, it was a ridiculous...

Oh I wish I knew what you are all talking about! But, I am pretty sure that my 2 litre car or my 2.5 litre campervan isn't so complicated. For a puny 250 watt continuous, isn't this all a bit abstruse?

    Enjoy

Since the weather turned cold, I don't really like going at more than 10mph

I've got a puncture.. but not in my tyre!

After many air beds over the years, I have found the longest lasting to be the red and blue rubber and canvas jobs that are now made in China. Used to be UK made and called LiLo. All the pvc types only last a few days/weeks. I have a few 20 year old rubber and canvas ones still going strong

    Murder of the Innocents.

A further arguement is that the right is a collective one for the 'People' in a 'Well regulated Militia' (ie they did not trust the King and his army) not a personal right at all.

    Murder of the Innocents.

Whilst it seems sensible to require weapons to be on view, and many States insist upon it, others including the UK take the view that it is too easy for the weapon to be snatched off a person by a criminal. The UK goes further and requires the weapon to be in a bag or box, securely fastened. I...

    Murder of the Innocents.

The thing is that the USA is a big country with dangerous animals. I was considering using a canoe to do the 300 miles of the Everglades challenge in Florida. They warn you that you will probably encounter Whales, sharks, manatees, alligators, crocodiles, Burmese pythons, Bears, all of Florida's...

    Cheeky young blighter!

They are limited to 8mph on the road. My father had one and I gave it a go, it was terrifying at 8mph. The suspension is minimal and it felt top heavy. Apparently, if you are not disabled, you can only ride one for testing purposes.

    Frozen brakes and gears

Steve, Exactly what was frozen? Was it just the handlebar controls? If so, obviously there is water in there. Unfortunately,it can get inside the bowden cables as I found out on my motor cycle in 1963! But maybe it is only the levers. Anyway, dry the bike out in the house and use WD40, then oil.
