    Delimit Carrera Crossfire E

My assumption was that this screen showed wheel size calibration. I could find no way to change this setting with any key combinations - it is not documented in the manual. I managed to get a screen up saying "DAT CLR" though, which looks like it could put the bike back to factory setup...

    250w BBS-HD?

Very good spot - take it all with a pinch of salt then!

    250w BBS-HD?

http://www.goldenwheelgroup.com/en/product/e-totem-2017/city-bike/2017/0503/157.html Is this really a BBS-HD with a legal 250w stamp or a mistake? Would be interesting to see how much one of these would be in the UK if it is for real.

Is there any good reason not to buy a Greenway E16M106?

It will most likely be manufactured by Golden Wheel. Their brand is "e-totem". Chances are it is one of last year's models - I can't find it on the current website. This seems to be the closest model I can find in the current lineup, but it has a less funky frame...

I live in Bristol so really have no excuse, other than a lack of space.

    For Sale : 2008 Wisper 905 Sport £100

25,000 miles on the original battery - amazing! I wonder how long a single charge would last now? Although I already have 2 ebikes, I am strangely drawn to this!

Is there any good reason not to buy a Greenway E16M106?

I suggest calling them instead - they didn't used to be too good at responding to emails sent via the contact form on the website.

Is there any good reason not to buy a Greenway E16M106?

In my opinon that is a very nice looking sensibly priced bike. Delivery is £20 IIRC from Greenway. Greenway customer service is very good to sort problems, but when I ordered mine, the website / ordering process wasn't up to much. An extra £130 (including delivery) gets you the Woosh Rio FB...

    Greenway Cross City

It's 15Ah 36v from Jimmy at BGA with 30Q cells - couldn't tell you the configuration, but I guess that's enough for you to work it out!

    Greenway Cross City

I'm up to about 550 miles on mine now - no issues of note to report. 20amps with 80% keep current. Will up to 90% once I find my cable again! With the 30Q pack, the battery gauge seems well behaved - I no longer see the gauge fall and then recover again. Still very pleased with it.

    Help with IP CCTV

I can telnet / ssh in to my IP Camera's and make changes to settings that way directly to the config files without having any connection through the DVR etc. Each of my cameras also has a Web Server built in so I can log in directly using a browser and amend settings that way. It could be...

    Halfords Carrera Crossfire E question

On the "old" version of the screen (with Animals on) you are stuck with KMH. On the "new" version of the screen (removable), press and hold the "i" key for around 6 seconds to switch between KMH and MPH.

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

It is a torque multiplier - the harder you push on the pedals the higher the "power meter" on the display goes (and the more assist you get). The higher the assist mode, the less effort it takes on the pedals to get the "power meter" to the top of the display.

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

How much do you weigh? 20% is a tall order for any legal ebike. If you only weigh 30Kgs you may be able to find something that will do it. If you weigh 100Kgs, very unlikely.

Don't assume your chain and cassette are worn if the chain skips!

Interesting - my Greenway has just started skipping in the top couple of gears (@450 miles). It feels like a stiff link in the chain, but I will check for compacted dirt as well as I used it in some hideous weather last week and haven't given it a "proper" clean since.

    Hello from Cheddar!

Welcome. I cycled up Cheddar Gorge on a non-assisted bike about 6 weeks ago. Not too steep but it goes on for ever! E-Bikes are definitely the way forward for leisure riding around the Mendips. I hope you get your battery issues resolved and get to enjoy the bike.

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

This is how the Greenway Maxdrive bikes are marked up - 250W, but G330.350:

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

Agreed - even 48v x 20A would have the potential to support assisting way faster than the UK legal limit. Well done on bringing in a MaxDrive bike - I think this will surprise a lot of people when they have the chance to ride it, as long as the programming is correct :-)

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

That looks awesome. I imagine that Max Drive at 48V would be pretty damn good. I am impressed with Max Drive at 36V - what is the current limit on the controller? I think you are hitting the right sort of price point there. Will there be a "non-fat" (diet?) version of this bike by the end of...

    Thoughts on Carrera Crossfire-E

No. And in my experience, it wasn't when you hit a bump, it was a certain way of riding the bike - I could pretty much predict where when it was likely to cut out depending on my speed and the terrain.
