As Jimmy is sadly unwell at present, I wonder if Woosh undertake any battery repairs? Alternatively, I see that Woosh now offer a 36V, 20AH battery with 21700 cells. Will it fit my old Big Bear rack? Thanks.

Hello again. Sadly, Jimmy is currently unwell. I think my battery needs a new BMS and some TLC too. Who else does this kind of work?

Well, the secondhand controller has been good until now (although I never could get the speedometer working). Any idea if I can still get one of those controllers?

As regards the battery, I had it upgraded by Jimmy a few years ago. 21700 cells and new BMS.

Randomly. I rode one mile this morning and it happened four times. The display stayed on the whole time.

Hello there again. My Big Bear's power has been cutting out intermittently. I'll be riding along, then lose all power, yet the display is still on. On one occasion, I could see the battery charge indicator decrease, step by step, from five to one. When this happens, I have power from neither...

Okay, I'll go down in a bit, if I can disconnect my person from the sofa. Hopefully, the connector is male, and doesn't identify as something in-between ;) I'll go and take a pic soon, but as the speedometer was working okay yesterday morning, I suspect Andy may be right.

From bike - red/black/white Controller - red/blue/yellow Old controller (and (almost) new one correspond exactly to above pic

The speed sensor is inside the motor, I believe.

Okay, Mr Woosh, I went through the sequence (great tip about leaving the bike half in the rack and connected!) Okay until the speed sensor was connected, then pedal assist went back to on/off/on/off etc. Andy suggested that I might have damaged the speed sensor with my connecting of everything...

I had no idea that these things have to be done in sequence. Thanks :)

My controller:

The only connector on the bike side that is not connected is red/black/white. The only thing that will connect to it from the controller (other than things that are not used, such as the red/black/purple) is the red/blue/yellow.
