That is the problem with Bosch motored bikes but people say the range is better than you might expect from only 8Ah (or 11Ah with the bigger battery). However, this is one of the main reasons why I would always recommend the Kalkhoff Impulse bikes with 15 or 17Ah batteries as standard.

Just for info, the Agattu also comes with a 17Ah (612Wh) battery if you want to go even further. I have never seen a Gepida in the 'flesh', very few about in the UK but they are well regarded. Very few people are disappointed with a Kalkhoff, they are a quality bike at a very reasonable price...
