    Anyone running tubeless?

Think you mean UST ;) . They're good for MTB's depending on how bad your area is for thorns/glass etc, but MTBers always have the option of quickly shoving a tube in if the solution doesnt seal, and sometimes it just doesnt. With a hub motor this would be a real pain. Even if you have to fix a...

Wisper 905SE City S, first impressions

Well, as per my first post, Valley Scooters forgot to tighten the Wisper's pedals. One was close to falling off when i tried it. I felt it immediatly, but my Dad hadnt and had been riding it in this potentially dangerous state. I have little trust in any bike shop. I check everything myself...

Wisper 905SE City S, first impressions

If its the same one as the Aurora (probably), then i fastened mine VERY tight with an extra long Allen Key. A bit of threadlock on the wedge bolt could help too.

    Ebay Bike at £330.00!

They're the same company as UK Battery Store offer cheap laptop batteries, laptop ac adapters, camcorder batteries, cordless drill batteries. They are known to my boss, who rates them highly for camera batteries and such. He lives near their unit, and they mentioned they were starting to sell...

    Slipping chain

In that case its probably the derailleur setup causing it, i'd suggest you let a bike shop setup your gear shifting. If yu fancy having a crack yourself there's plenty of info here.

    Optobike 600T test ride

Pro-pedal is platform damping to alleviate pedal induced "bobbing" i dont see why you'd need that on a URT anyway. Modern mountain bikes have little to no pedal feedback whether single pivot or linkage driven. Four bar perhaps have the worst, but that's not stopped Specialized selling it's Horst...

    Optobike 600T test ride

Yes, but only slightly, due to the pivot placement being close to the bottom bracket. You probably wouldnt notice it even.

    Optobike 600T test ride

Ah, you see that ruins it for me. No mountain bike has used that design since the nineties, if the pedals are not on the front triangle then you get no suspension when you are stood up or putting any amount of serious pressure on the pedals. I'd rather have a bike without the rear suspension...

    Optobike 600T test ride

Sorry, that's not what i meant. Are the pedals directly attached to the front triangle or the rear (swingarm) triangle?

    Optobike 600T test ride

I still cant tell, are the cranks/BB on the rear triangle or the front triangle?

    camcorder for helmet

I work hard for my toys :p I'm actually going to give the company until the end of the month to get the POV.HD in or cancel and order the HDmax Extreme, which is a new French camera that looks very good, combining the best features of several other HD helmet cams.

    camcorder for helmet

I've taken the plunge and pre-ordered the TOTR helmet camera the VIO POV HD from Helmet camera bullet cameras from dogcamsport who comes highly recommended. They do lots of other cycling solutions from £99 and up, also if you enter the code "wufwuf" at the checkout you get 10% off :) So thought...

    Sunday Times: Electric bike story

    Woods/Dunlop Inner Tubes

So 50cycles are leaving these in? I know they're normal in Germany, but they're very rare indeed in the UK now, and likely you couldnt buy one or a pump for one in most British bike shops. Frankly, not swapping them out for Presta/Schrader seems a very bad sign for an importer.

    Woods/Dunlop Inner Tubes

Swap them for Presta valves tubes and pumps with pressure guages are readily available.

VIDEO ANIMATION: Where Boris Bikes Go During the Day

Hmmm, tracking how? As far as i know here's no GPS on them, so its simply a case of which docking station they left and which they were returned to. Accurate at commuting times, but not for throughout the day use i'd have though? Interesting that only a thousand are ever in use at one time...

    BEBA electric bike Day

Count me out for London too, its not the distance as much as that i find it a horrible place, same as any big urban sprawl.
