Might need a bracket fabricating, mine is fitted on the carrier, with microswitches on the brakes to work the brake light.

Can you fit an after market battery to a bosch equipped bike

I wonder what effect the coming "right to repair" laws will have on Bosch motors and batteries?

    Mid , Hub, Front, Rear.....help!

I fitted a Bbs01b mid drive to my hybrid 29, it's great, suits me and it will do what you want. I have fine control over how much assistance I get, I chose 9 power levels instead of 3 or 5. Some of the bridleways round here have steep sections so I fitted a 44t front ring instead of the 46, a...

New to e bikes .chargeing question

Just looked up a type 2 plug. To make up a lead. It seems they only sell gold plated diamond encrusted models! £70 upwards. Slightly cheaper on Alibaba. Hopefully they will drop in price as EVs get more popular.

Bafang mid drive. Clunky gear change only when power on.

There are some good YouTube videos about setting up your derailleur, worth a look, clarified a few things for me. Park Tools was the one I followed. Is the gear change sensor cutting the power?

Doesn't show him fabricating that rear chainring. All a bit Blue Peter, here's one I made earlier.

Managed to get my hands on another tilting kit cargo trike

Would you sell the just trike kit? I have a recumbent tandem to get my wife out and about on, impossible for her to get on an ordinary bike, it would be a lot more stable with the tadpole kit.

    Swytch on the beach

I remember having great fun with my non pedal bike on a beach, a '59 Triumph Thunderbird with an open top sidecar. Zoom zoom. I was young and foolish.

    Bafang BBS01 programming issue

I've had no problem tweaking mine. Are you using the stock bafang program or the tweaked one? I wonder if the Speeed app on a phone might work? That works for me too.

No judgement involved in that, just a comment on the way the world is. Reporting facts as I remembered, backed up by another poster.

    Don't forget your helmet

I remember something of that study, a leather bush hat more effective at getting you noticed. Probably beaten by a fit arse, pert breasts and long blonde tresses flowing in the breeze.

    Bbs01b ah setting, motor rating.

I've just tried the Speeed app, on the initial motor info page the motor is rated a 20ah. I have on occasion gone up to 17ah but had read here that any higher might not be wise. So what is the problem with going up to 20ah if that is what is in the motor spec? Just in the grounds of the mansion...

Advice on choosing the right kit, please.

Re Bbs01b tweaking options, I've just tried the new Speeed android app, had to get a better cable, but it works a treat. Various settings can be changed, including the ah setting, so while in the grounds of your mansion you can have a 350w motor by setting it to 17ah. I've now brought it back...
