    36v Vs 48v

Can be seen here, I'll get a closeup when I get home https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lBmfvuyAtNAabkE71cOkXMBw6Jss9IeL/view?usp=drivesdk

    36v Vs 48v

It's my modified Carrera Vulcan, I have a dual voltage controller in there already. How do I tell if it would benefit from extra voltage? It's a bigger motor with sturdy wiring so I'm sure it can take it but if it's not wound for it well... There are no winding codes on the casing.

    36v Vs 48v

Sounds like a no brainer, cheers lad

    36v Vs 48v

Would upgrading to a 48v battery on the same hub be worth it? Is the difference noticeable?

    LCD S866 + Brainpower controller

It will work, white wire is for speed reading, although it can probably still read the speed from the hall sensor. I think Pas is red black blue and throttle is red black white on mine. It will run without brake sensor but if it's anything like mine don't switch it on tell you're on it because...

    Delimit Carrera Crossfire E

Oh and you will need a new crankset as a standard Pas disk will not fit between the suntour chainring. Alternatively there is a torque sensor type that goes in the bottom bracket, not sure what they are like

    Delimit Carrera Crossfire E

Throttle and unlimited speed, haven't got round to configuring the display but it probably does about 20mph hot off the charger. Could get even more if I ditch the battery and get a 48v one but it's enough for now. The hardest part is you have to cut all the motor wires and crimp connectors onto...

    Delimit Carrera Crossfire E

You can change the controller as I did but it's a lot of work

The problem with E-bikes in the UK.

Instead of getting mad you should be saying or at least thinking at least I'm not the one all sweaty with a sore arse. E biking lets me appreciate the scenery, not that there is much with all the beer cans, graffiti, dog **** and broken glass, along with the idiots that produce such "scenery"...

This Falcon jolt, different speed sensor than other bikes.

You unscrew the box under the battery, the controller is in here. There should be a 3 wire plug with nothing plugged in, the throttle goes in there. It should run derestricted on throttle or at least mine did. You can find a 3 wire throttle on eBay for pennies, just check it has a connector...

This Falcon jolt, different speed sensor than other bikes.

If it's anything like the spark it just has a big delay in starting up. The controller will take a throttle, which also derestricted these

If this falcon jolt has same power motor and batt, then why?

I had a spark and while it was a piece of crap in other ways I thought the motor was alright. Maybe it's the geometry or the weight. Also in the cold weather at the moment the battery sags more and feels weaker

    Falcon jolt

I had a falcon spark, good when it worked but I had a lot of issues. Loose spokes out of the box that later started breaking. Poor waterproofing of the controller box, water gets in and messes with the motor signal. But the biggest problem was with the fuse in the battery. The holder gets loose...

    LCD S866 + Brainpower controller

Sounds similar to mine except mine has the LCD m5, you can probably find the manual on aliexpress that's where mine is. With regards to the speed sensor my suntour hub has the white wire and it doesn't show speed unless running, think thats just how these are which is crap. Also the Speedo was...

An update on the Carrera Vulcan mods

So I bought this controller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24V-60V-1500W-Electric-Bike-E-bike-Scooter-Brushed-Brushless-Motor-Controller-ST/253823287117?hash=item3b190bff4d:m:mww9KOJZR8P_2I02FqFI3wA Along with a suntour nexus crankset and thumb throttle, Pas sensor Bought the crimp connectors to...

    HELP!!..Same Old Question

I would have sent you my sensor but it got binned in a clear out. You can change the controller as I did but it takes quite a bit of work. If you're up for it I'll run you through it

How capable is a Carrera frame for jumping?

Wow seems it really is capable of quite a bit of abuse

How capable is a Carrera frame for jumping?

Was like this one except v brakes and a god awful suntour fork with the rubber slinky things on. Looks like the same frame on this. https://www.bicyclesetc-il.com/product/haro-mary-xc-expert-73635-1.htm

How capable is a Carrera frame for jumping?

I destroyed a haro cross country bike jumping, well the wheels anyway. They were like pringles in the end, single wall. The crappy fork survived it all including some badly cased landings, crashes and 6ft air onto flat ground. The cromo frame was a beast too. This Carrera feels like a tank in...

How capable is a Carrera frame for jumping?

I don't do anything big yet, I'm sure it will be fine even with the current shitty fork I'm too chicken **** for big air unless there's grass to land on
