Drunk e-scooter rider on Cheltenham hen do banned from driving after weaving in and out of traffic

And my Dad! He was taken by Thatcher in the right to buy days, give the plebs & future private landlords a discount, discourage the local council from ploughing that money back into social housing, then move some working class people (my dad) into the upper working class and gift them out of...

Drunk e-scooter rider on Cheltenham hen do banned from driving after weaving in and out of traffic

"if" not to get too deep into politics but there should be several, based on prevailing winds from popular surveys. I will ask my Father if he still intends to vote Tory, dollars to donuts he says "I don't like Boris but YES" o_OThat is the extent of my survey taking.

Drunk e-scooter rider on Cheltenham hen do banned from driving after weaving in and out of traffic

Hows life man? Not read yet - but I always assumed one could be fined and or prosecuted for drunk in charge of any vehicle. I would not risk more than a few bevies spaced over a few hours before locking up the bike and hailing a taxi, even less now I lost 20/20 vision and have T1D:(

    What is this for?

I have a red plug for a light I can't remember if its 2 pin or 3. But according the Chinese dude that sold it on aliex it requires a 48v bulb whether that's right or not I'll never know.

Always a good idea to inspect cables...

I often wonder how many of these there are in the wild. It's a tad overkill I know and most likely intended for rear however I could not get it to either angle or level on the rear frame from what I can remember. Anyway 2 year or more itch scratched.

Always a good idea to inspect cables...

managed to gopro the axle fix, lucky spot really, it is only 2mm slight exposing, I will have to check the vid in post to see how well it came out, I did as the other fix, etape and heat shrink. With the new forks came a momentous occasion, some may cast their minds back many a moons ago, to...

Always a good idea to inspect cables...

It is the 9 pin motor cable coming out of the motor. Yes definitely tricky, at the moment it's only slightly exposed with no visible copper showing so I covered with e-tape and applied a covering of heat shrink. I think I caught it in time. I have the task of reassembling the bike today so...

Always a good idea to inspect cables...

Just a quick post, I am getting new steel(chromoly) rigid forks fitted, [oxford cheap(ish) make £40 but look really nice in person] to save the LBS some hassle I removed my motor and brakes etc. Upon inspection of my long motor cable I came across two areas of wear one inside the axle near to...

    Trec 810 forks mxus hub

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/forks/surly-pack-rat-26-inch-fork-1-18-inch-black/ bugger - they are nice, the LBS just ordered them oxford, hopefully they'll do, tbf I did last well on the original cheapo all steel frame with rigid forks on a 350w, these oxford are similar in style. The Surly do...

    Trec 810 forks mxus hub

:D Tbh I could but they would end costing more than the whole bike not to mention outlasting the bike as well. Nice to add that name/brand though to the future build list for me and others who might be looking.

    Trec 810 forks mxus hub

Defo nicely priced, a quick look but I don't see v-brakes. I am looking at the oxford Oxford 26" Chromoly 28.6mm Threadless MTB Forks or if these are steel https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Oxford-MTB-26-Forks-1-1-8-Threadless_88630.htm No mention of metal though slightly cheaper

    Trec 810 forks mxus hub

I will try to briefly resurrect this thread... The trouble is I checked the forum for the word "chromoly" before I posted, I was trying to be good and do my own research. Just for reference I have run similar forks to these(above) with a front motor and t-arm for several thousand miles however...

    video camera apps

Assuming you mean using your phone as an action camera, if it is relatively new and you forget it's on your bike while popping in the shops it may not be there when you return or if you crash... Cex usually do 24 months warranty and have fair prices on 2nd hand cameras. Alternatively if you have...

    Over Volting a Yose 350w hub....Newby questions.

I know that most people do have a restricted budget, been there for sure. I feel that in most cases, either kitting out a bike or building a PC a lesson I have learnt over the years is to save up what you *think* will be enough by ball parking products listed , then add 50% more or cheapen the...

    Over Volting a Yose 350w hub....Newby questions.

Only a quick read but I see no mention of a 1 to 4 cable required for your LCD(green 5 pin), normally extension cable are just that ie to extend the end of either the motor cable or the 1 to 4 cable, you will defo need a 4 to 1 cable, the "1" end goes to the controller and the "4" is needed for...

    Old Nag

My frame is getting on a bit now, purchased in 2018, the motor, now 6 year old still works well but I can see the bearings failing soon and I am not looking forward to tackling that task. I had a small annoying squeak on my NCX seat post but that was easily sorted with a little TLC. My 3...

Don't blame you mate - I will only make an Amazon purchase if I can't source from anywhere else, my reasons are mainly working conditions and environmental. On a lighter note... Thanks for the update.
