    New Mxus kits.

Not overly fussed about range, I have 2x 36v batteries and a 48v battery, 20-25 miles off one battery is adequate, I can always take two batteries if required. This is my conundrum, I am sticking with a front hub and require a motor that would suit both 36v and 48v as my batteries are in great...

    New Mxus kits.

I ride at 15-18 mph average however not always, but would the above apply at PAS 1-3 below 15 mph? What about 27.5"?

    New Mxus kits.

I was thinking the same. This is the motor I am looking at for the new front hub build I am planning. So would a few more amps at 48v be better for hill climbing? Over volting my YOSE front gets me 290ish rpm circa 620-670 watts @14- 15a PAS 5 and the hills I do are about 15% EDIT and I...

A mystery rear motor with 36V controller and 48V battery

I find that in the winter/rain months I can store my black heat absorbing monster (6fet) in a seat post bag although that does have a custom hole for cables but is some-what protected by the seat/bag, in the summer I cable tie it the same spot under the seat and unless it's super high temps I...

Front hub motor with suspension forks.

I think I am one of the few front hub advocates, I like mine. Admittedly it is most likely a low weight motor however I did start with a front conversion and got use to the riding style. I have a basic torque arm installed, jubilee clip ;) , my experience of a cracked rim and god awfully gear...

A mystery rear motor with 36V controller and 48V battery

Quick side query, if your using a 36v controller on a 48v battery would this not cause issues with LVC if you ever went a long distance? Assuming the BMS wouldn't cut you out first.

Its cool now because you have a spare motor to tinker with, I have watched a few videos of them taking them to bits however I dare not tinker as I am a firm believer in "if it's not broke don't try n fix it! I think if anything, my bearing will need replacing next. 6500 miles and counting!

Did the bearing survive? and where did the washers come from? The motor I will send you has planetary gears on, my motor should fit straight in, All you need to do is re-fit the bearing back in the motor case in your wheel. The alternative is use my bearing that comes in the outer case if you...

You may have to ask the forum Moderator to delete a thread. However this may help others. Oooh yep - darn - Other may assist on this one I agree.... I see.... If you can get that bearing off without breaking it , I believe (and this is grey area for me as I have not yet needed to replace a...
