I use the older radar with the garmin 1000 head unit and can easily hear the warning beep when traffic is approaching.

Is there a way to electrically immobilise my bike when I'm not near/on it? I'm thinking some sort of proximity sensor, or hidden kill switch. Would be good if the display was coded and removable, but I don't think the Purions are?

I'm sure there'll be someone along shortly with more knowledge than me, but if your commute is not too hilly, you may want to consider the active line plus motor instead of the CX as there is less resistance.

Better forks (air rather than coil), 11 speed rather than 10, and there were a couple of other things that I forget... Tyre size too I think, but not sure. The forks were the main thing that swayed me. I got it for 2k with some persuasion! ETA, that was the 2018 model, 2019 may be different?

I'm 5'11 too. I got a Cube Reaction Hybrid Race 500 in a 19" frame, which has 29" wheels. It's fine on the road, with more road biased tyres, and is capable of a bit of off road too. Go and try some, see how they feel.

Hasn't it always been like that? I have a 2014 Cube with the Intuvia display, and that's what I have to do to make mine spring to life. I bought it second hand tho, so don't know if it has always been this way.

Hi all Having a 2014 and a 2018 Cube means I have both the older style 4A charger and the newer 2A charger. For general charging use, would using the 2A charger be kinder to the batteries or won't it matter? TIA

I used to ride that on my horse before they surfaced it. Not done it on the bike yet tho. I really enjoy the Route 47 / MCP ride, but I'm wary of the road ride back through Mynyddygarreg and over the top. Need to stick the Varia on the back of the bike and get some brave pants on I think!
