Yeah I'd already been eyeing one of them up as I could see that it was fitted as standard, but i wasn't sure of the length- they give you more links than you necessarily need then? Might replace my cassette at the same time.

I was only asking about the front chain ring, as if you have lengthened the chain, yet are still only running 15t up front, won't the chain be too long and may cause slippage in the smaller cogs?

I thought they are 15t standard up front? I've just bought an 18t for mine.

Yeah I know the retail price is extortionate but I've seen a couple sold on ebay for as low as £50, and there's listings for new ones on there for £130. This was an eBay one for less than a ton.

Oh don't say that now, lol. Hopefully it's just a signal that gets blocked inside the dongle rather than one that gets sent to the motor, so if it all went pear shaped you could just remove the dongle.... I'm really surprised that I can't find any reviews at all of this kit.
