Does sound like a switch or BMS fault. Are you getting a positive click when pushing the button on and off? Eclipse are notoriously difficult to get in touch with. Wait until Monday morning, they might not man their e-mail system over the weekend. You could also try reaching them on this...

I do find it amusing, that when you run out of power on the Footloose IM, the rider ends up spinning the pedals like a lunatic, with zero drive to the wheels. In this situation, they have a high chance of falling off, as Spencer kindly demonstrated in the clip :D

Don't get on to Eclipse just yet. I have the same battery, and when it is connected to the controller, the blue light illuminates, whether the battery switch is on or off. I think it does this, due to the capacitor(s) in the controller having a residual charge. I would get the ole multimeter on...

Thanks Dave, are there any headset specs I need to check on my bike first, to ensure the fork I buy will fit? I've read about tapered and straight. I'm not too clued up about the front end side of things. The bike is a 2014 Ridgeback 604LX.
