Brake sensor for magura hs11 hydraulic brakes

Yes most KT controllers have a pair of brake connectors , one can use both three wire and two wire sensors. If only using two wire brake sensors then one simply ignores the 5v line in the controller brake connector.

    New controller required

A very strange occurence to happen so something obviously has happend in a very short time space. A clear pic of the controller with all of the wire connectors laid out please. Carry out a simple test on your bike stand , the bike needs no power. Simply turn the motor wheel C/W , does it turn...

The lights are on but nothing's turning...

Your first port of call is to test the battery under load with a meter , check what occurs with the battery voltage. A knackered battery in most cases will always show voltage and charge but any undue current draw may cause the voltage to sag/collapse it is this that will define the battery as...

The lights are on but nothing's turning...

Andy bike always barks up the same tree and like an animal scent marks the same locations, he has tunnel vision and a distain for anything practical and cheaper as a transport option. Hub bike advice is more often asked for because LBS have no idea or clue how to fault find an issue, so 99.%...

Are motor cut-off brakes legally required?

One advantage of any KT system , it has a zero assist setting so PAS actuation couldn't occur.

Are motor cut-off brakes legally required?

Difference is you are tweaking your parameters for a motorbike like power option with full throttle rather then standard eapc options. With KT controllers one can't change the settings much, yes one can adjust parameters but unless one uses OSF for KT controllers there are no real option to...

Whats the difference with these PAS ?

I have to be honest , I only use 8 or 10 magnet discs . The 12, I have had in the past wasn't very good.

Are motor cut-off brakes legally required?

Another thread where users make a mountain out of mole hill for a function that has little use unless a throttle is fitted.

Whats the difference with these PAS ?

This query from manman is a getting very tedious . The sensor will work whether fitted on the LHS or RHS, if wired /connected correctly one will see the Red led on the sensor head blink as the cranks/pedals are rotated. Set the C1 setting parameter to 00, 01 or 02 which ever one works the...

    KT E Bike conversion kit

Yes as has already been said nay of the KT' s will work the end 23xl designator is just a cutomer supply number and has no meaning unless the controller uses custom settings specific to the supplied customer. Most of us buy form topbikekit .com or Aliexpress stores , one can also buy the same...

    Tongsheng problem

I believe it has a roller clutch type bearing, but tbh have never delved to far in to the repair side yet. I'm a bit old school of if it's not broken then it needs no fixing , that said prior to install I did add some cooling mods and OSF to try and make it ore bullet proof. I did bung in...

Imho the part of battery fires that ais dangerous is the idiot on the end carrying out the charging , either thru negligence or using defective /incorrect chargers.

Why the e-bike boom is raising fire fears - BBC Article

The BBC are like any other media type , they exist on sensationalism and hysteria to misinform the public on issues they mis - report very often. They never let the truth or a fact get in the way.

Why the e-bike boom is raising fire fears - BBC Article

Wisper use an inbetween voltage on their new range of bikes , these are not 36v or 48v but an inbetween voltage so here users simply can't use a std 36v or 48v charger . I am the same with my bikes , I use an inbetween voltage similar to Wisper it isn't 36v but also isn't 48v . It is 44v /12s...

Why the e-bike boom is raising fire fears - BBC Article

Ebike fires are down to mainly educating people who know little about lithium battery and the charging process . For years the domain of this forum was all about diy with some early oem bikes , one never saw any reports of fires or battery safty issues because the users were knowledgable as were...

    Tongsheng problem

Tbh if it is the drive that is the issue, one won't know until it is opened. If it is the Blue gear then replacing with the same Blue gear is beneficial as it acts as a fail safe early on the mechanical side , one can use the brass gear but then loses that early fail safe. With the brass gear...

Are motor cut-off brakes legally required?

The isssue with over coming stopping issues (due to an open /faulty throttle ) is one will burn the controller out and then be stuck with a heavy unpowered bike to ride. For bikes that use decent controllers with no over run issues then it is quite simple, fitted throttle then use one brake...

Are motor cut-off brakes legally required?

Tsdz2 doesn't need them , all my bikes that have used KT controllers again need no brake sensors. The only likely scenarion for them is if the need for throttle is fitted.

No that display won't work, one can't buy just any display. It has to be a bafang display with their software/programming.
