    Anyone willing/able to fix my e-bike ?

if you connect just the battery, new controller and new LCD (6-pin JST), leave motor, sensors out, do you still see error 30 when switching on? if you do, then there is incompatibility between the new LCD and the new controller that Kudos sent you. Kudos can sort this out for you with a matching...

    Anyone willing/able to fix my e-bike ?

does your LCD come with a 10" cable and a round 6-pin plug or a 1.2m long cable and a 6-pin JST socket at the end? if it comes with a long cable, you have to install the new controller first then connect the new LCD.

    Gsm vs bbs01

Push in the red button on the twist grip throttle to turn it on before switching on the controller, 06E should disappear. That twist grip throttle is a bad idea. There is now an option to choose a thumb throttle with the GSM instead. If youemail Andy @ Woosh, ask him for a thumb throttle and...

    Adding battery capacity

They only try to sell you something. I don't recommend you make you own battery. Repairing a ready made one is difficult enough. To make one, you need battery casing, PVC shrink tube, kafton tape, spot welding machine, load tester etc. and obviously battery cells and BMS. Only cwah builds his...

the cable that connects the LCD to the controller also needs to be checked. If the Tx or Rx wire is shorted to 0V or 5V or 36V wire, you also get error 30.

Gsm crank kit from Woosh and Charge Cooker conversion

when you get the new kit, swap out only the LCD first. If that does not work, then swap out the motor next.

As you have already got the controlleer and LCD, you need now to get a new waterproof trunk cable from Kudos. When you get it, connect the battery, new controller and new LCD. The error won't be there because all the parts are new. Swap in on old component at a time.

    Adding battery capacity

there is no easy solution to your problem. If you get only 12 miles from your 10AH pack, then you ride at very high speed or your battery is on its way out. Either way, you will need a new battery because repairing battery without tools and spares is nigh impossible.

Shimano recommend not loading their hub gears for more than 250W. They void the guarantee if you do. Chain tensioner: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shimano-CT-S510-Alfine-Chain-Tensioner-for-HUB-GEARS-and-Singlespeed-bikes-/201344505804

    Fitting the GSM kit

Mike, I would email woosh to get a thumb throttle, much easier to fit than those twist grips.

you may need a chain tensioner if you want to keep the option of swapping chainrings. I still think 750W is too much power for the Nexus 8

    Fitting the GSM kit

I am sure Andy will appreciate your feedback. The long read and black power wires: I am sure they can be lost by solddering directly the power tail extension to the removeable battery's terminal block. If you want a shorter cable, email Woosh, they'll get it sorted for you.

    going round in circles

you are only 5ft tall, you should consider a folding bike like E-Wayfarer or the woosh Gale, or one with small frame and 24" wheels like the Petite. The eSprinter and Salisbury are a bit too big and heavy for you.

    Gsm vs bbs01

that's what I like about the King Meter's LCDs. They are easy to understand and use and still programmable with a programming lead.
