    Gsm vs bbs01

You can get going with just connecting the motor to the battery, LCD and speed sensor. The rest can be fitted later. The main difference with the BBS01 is the throttle. If you need the same thumb throttle as woosh supply with the BBS01, email andy@woosh.

    Battery pack supplier recommendations

the Lishui controller can't support 48V for long. D8veh did that two years ago, he reported the motor getting hot and not much increase in power.

The Halfords Crossfire E would be an easy solution. Buying locally is always a plus. The bike looks good and its 36V 9AH battery has enough range for your commute. http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/electric-bikes/carrera-crossfire-e-womens-electric-bike

it's not a problem using one brand or the other. You would not have the choice in most cases, the LCD is selected for your kit by your supplier. Chinese e-bikes have mostly King Meter LCDs or LED panels, that makes King Meter most popular. The 800S is larger than the KT LCD3 and the King Meter...

As far as I know, the GSM can use the same chainrings for BBS01/BBS02. You can buy from the usual sources such as http://www.greenbikekit.com/accessories.html/

If you are OK with looking after your bike yourself then I would suggest that a GSM kit is just as good as the woosh Krieger or Sport CD. Woosh offer the GSM with 11.6AH bottle battery for £499 or with 15AH battery for £549.The difference in price with the Krieger is more than enough to cover...

    Gsm vs bbs01

it's the 2nd generation. I tested the first generation about a year ago, made a couple of suggestions because I have the BBS01 18A 350W. The main suggestion was to have a 250W motor but with 18A built in controller so that the motor can be road legal on kits. Back then, the controller was...

the hardest job is to undo the old bottom bracket. You may need to whack the spanner a bit with a mallet to loosen an old BB. Start with undoing the non-drive side (left cup first), then the right side (chain side). On the chain side, the cup is left hand threaded. If in doubt, always turn your...

Where can I get a gear sensor for my Woosh Krieger bike

the woosh gear sensor sits between the brake sensor and its socket. edit: the two sensors are paralleled, not daisy chained.

Where can I get a gear sensor for my Woosh Krieger bike

the Bafang Maxdrive has the gearsensor on the drive shaft. Very neat but if it goes wrong, expensive to fix.

Where can I get a gear sensor for my Woosh Krieger bike

the shifter on the handlebars would be a more logical place for the sensor. There is no need to interfere with the gear cable. The sensor simply detects the anticlockwise movement of the gear lever. The proximity of the brake sensor is a bonus, both sensors can work on the same connector.

yes. You double tap the on/off button to go to settings, tap to the maxs (max speed), adjust with + and -, long press on/off to save. Maximum set speed is 57km/h. Very similar to the King Meter.

Where can I get a gear sensor for my Woosh Krieger bike

relatively straightforward, I imagine. I have not seen the gearsensor.com's device in the flesh, it seems to work like the Kalkhoff's, it's an inline device, the gear cable changes its tension while you change gear. The change is detected by a Hall sensor. To install it, you will have to undo...

Any Woosh owners in or around Belfast? (Or any other makes too!)

Where can I get a gear sensor for my Woosh Krieger bike

If you get a gear sensor from gearsensor.com, you need to connect it to one of the two brake inputs, the ground and signal wires. Woosh had a prototype of their own gear sensor on one of the demo bikes but I don't know if they are going to use it on the bikes they sell. The Woosh gear sensor is...
