try this first: squeeze the brakes and switch on the LCD. You should see error 25. Release the brake levers, error 25 should go. Then spin the wheel where you fit the speed sensor to, if you see speed displayed, then the conclusion is you have blown one of the FETs.

I always thought of drag as a result of an imperfect clutch on geared motors (hub or crank). With a crank motor, you can move the bike back and forth...
