d8veh, tested it, showing 29.4.......white is live+.....other way round shows -29.4.....just going to check plug.........Del.

New charger has arrived.....big thank-you to Bob at Juicybikes, now, old charger wires are red & black, new charger wires are white & black, presumably red on old charger is live +, but what about new charger, will white be live + ??......any help appreciated.......Del.

Thanks for that Atmosphere, got a new charger on order, one thing, I can't remember, but does charger light up if not actually plugged into battery ? I seem to think that it does, but could be wrong......Del.

Thanks d8veh, when I first got the bike, the plug was shorting badly, a chap at work fixed it for me....no problems until couple of days ago.....just wonder if damage had been done to charger, that had weakened it, and it took while now to pack up, anyway, hopefully will get new one from Juicy...

yes, d8veh, definatley 5 pins, the ''female'' end is attached to the lead....the ''male'' end is built into the battery housing, ......see my other thread for pics........Del.

d8veh, trust me to get it wrong,anyway, it is a 5 pin plug, think it's what they use for microphones, I'm told that only 3 of the pins are actually used.....trying to attach a picture of it.....Del.

Rang Kudos today, strange really, as they answered as Raliegh something or other, anyway, the guy said they don't do a charger for the Cyclamatic, so back to the drawing board.....E- bikes direct have them for the Salisbury for £60........Del.

It says on charger, Model GM-240200.......Input.100V-240VAC...50/60Hz 1.0Max....Output.29.4V - 2.0 A ....this means nothing to me, as I am not to good with electrics.......Del.

Had a look inside charger, no fuses that I can see, and no burning or anything, double checked power is getting through to charger with the old light bulb test.....it is, d8veh, like the sound of £18.50, much better than £80....that seems way too expensive.......Del.

Hello, the charger for my Powacycle Salisbury seems to have died, no red light, no green light....nothing, have checked fuse in plug, it's o.k......is there anything else that I can do ?........Del.

d8veh, You were right, today decided to put new brake blocks on front, no problem, thought while doing it, would adjust back brakes, discovered back brake cable seized up, hardly any movement in it at all, just enough to allow brakes to work, couldn't get inner cable out, so complete cable...
