    Powacycle Salisbury Problem

d8veh, thanks for that, I suspect brake switches because when it happens, everything is dead, a couple of times, after it has happened, I have applied brakes, released them, and off it goes again,, just wondered if switches were prone to sticking ?.........Del.

    Powacycle Salisbury Problem

Hi, Hannibal, thanks for reply, it's probably normal then, only does it every so often, just seen your post on battery dying, I did toy with idea of getting a second battery, but the cost put me off the idea, I bought my Salisbury second hand, and am not sure how old it is, it had ''hardly been...

Hi, Power keeps cutting out on Powacycle Salisbury, I suspect brake lever switches are sticking, is there any simple maintenance that I can do, to correct this, or are the switches un-servicable ?.....Del.

To Charge.....Or Not To Charge ?

To Charge.....Or Not To Charge ?

Tempted to do the same Mountainsport, I suppose ideally a spare second battery would be handy, take bike to it's limit, change battery, then you would know for sure how far you could go, of course the extra cost of second battery rules this out.....well in my case anyway......Del.

    Spare battery?

Quite agree with you Tom, as I posted earlier, in another thread, I paid £250 for a hardly used Powacycle, which I consider a bargain.....but without the battery it would have been virtually worthless, I did consider getting a spare lythium polymer battery, but the price put me off the idea...

    Battery Getting Stronger ? ?

flecc, that's one thing I have realised, I paid £250 for my Powacycle Salisbury,it has hardly been used from new, but without the battery it would be worth next to nothing, will anyone ever produce a ''cheap'' battery for E-bikes I wonder......I suspect not........Del.

NRG, I did wonder if the high temeratures we are enjoying had anything to do with the batteries performance, and of course I must be getting fitter [laughs] I must say I think that E-bikes are marvellous.......wish I had got one years ago....... Del.

    Battery Getting Stronger ? ?

I have had my Powacycle Salisbury for over a month now, it was ''stood'' for quite a long while, thing is the battery seems to have got ''stronger'', I only do about 5 miles a day , to work and back, and only charge it up once a week, is this normal for a lythium polymer battery ??.....Del.

    State Of The Roads......Awful !!

Since losing my HGV Licence six years ago, because of angina, I have not used the roads at all, prefering to walk, however since getting my E-bike some weeks ago I have discovered what an appalling state the roads are in, cycling home from work is a nightmare , my route is governed by two...

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

Cycling to work last Friday, after a downpour, I thought back to the days, when the first thing we would do with a new bike, would be to remove the mudguards, because they were considered un-cool, oh how attitudes change !! I was certainly glad of mine.........Del.
