A battery most likely, we seem to have seen a few issues along the same line. There are three secenarios: 1. Battery is dead or a cell group is. 2. The battery is out of balance due to standing for so long and has a low voltage but salvageable cell group. 3. Battery is in sleep mode and needs...

    Bike on Fire!

One suspects many who build batteries do so for the cost but doing so make no or little effort to insulate against shorting or using cell protection. It would be interesting to know what process he used to maintain cell integity etc, etc.

E-scooters 'are five times safer than bikes' - Study by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents

Still seething from an encounter tonight with one of those ninja blokes on a scooter and he went ass over tit. Walking around to the local supermarket and I was blinded by this fast moving scooter with triple blinding lights coming at me at a speed that was not safe for me, he made no...

It is there to keep the motor assembly in place , behind it is a sealed press fit bearing and a bearing dust seal . Should one in a few thousand miles find the hub becomes noisy then this bearing will need replacing, once the wheel is removed one has to remove that nut to allow the inner...

Hoping to increase driver passing distance at night, I've glued front and rear reflectors to my wing mirrors.

Yes lots of options to mount them so one can use the simultaneous use of the light modes.

Scavenging escooter found apparently dead to make batteries?

Even if ambiguous no court would prosecute a amputee or paralysed rider for having e assist on a hand cycle.

Hoping to increase driver passing distance at night, I've glued front and rear reflectors to my wing mirrors.

Currently one front one rear as I haven't yet found a suitable solution to me for the dual light usage, Ideally I want to mount both so I have 4 lights showing front and rear. At the front I have 3 lights showing using another on the LHS of the bars and the rear I have another seat post mouted...

Scavenging escooter found apparently dead to make batteries?

Bikes don't have to have pedals as leg amputees or paralysed users can use and ride hand cycles, that early stick propelled trike being so. The main thing though is the vehicle driven is propelled by human power even if it is an assisted powered bike.

In the top pic one can adjust the fore /aft alignment as all mounts have the slot to adjust the position, however the vertical alignment to me suggests the axle may not be sitting correctly in the drop out and not seating correctly ? Also quite a lot of paint damage and wear/damage to the ali...

Hoping to increase driver passing distance at night, I've glued front and rear reflectors to my wing mirrors.

Mounting the lamps so that the beams/light fore & aft can be seen means handle bar use will cause either the wrist or fore arm blocking the plain where one wants the light to be seen in from the rear. I suppose one could use the action cam various mount extenders raise them so any beam...

Hoping to increase driver passing distance at night, I've glued front and rear reflectors to my wing mirrors.

Those PlanetX twin lamp lights are pretty good as one can have the fornt and rear lights active at the same time, 3 modes for the front and 6 modes for the rear. In theory if one uses Trevors idea of a pannier rack one could mount a light each side on a 700mm wide bar so the forward beam passes...

Sorry Andy can't agree less , the drop outs are fine as they are as the axles need to be a very snug fit. Touching /altering the drops outs will invalidate any warranty and in the long run may cause premature drop out failure. The manufatured design will be correct for the axle, sometimes one...

All the time washers are left on the axle they ain't going to allow said axle to drop out past the derailleuer mount.
