If the blocks are mis-alingned, the wear won't be even. Blocks wear more quickly if you ride fast or agressively. A few sharp brakes also wear less than continuous braking.
Post a picture of the worn pads, we'll see better why.
get one of those for the front:

They are £40 a pair, so the discount is £660 over RRP, still good value although Col could have offered a new pair to keep the forum happy.
I have often compared my CD 8-speed derailleur against 3-speed hub gear, . On most days, the Nexus wins. Inaudible chain noise, no fuss shifting,.
It should be more popular really, e-bikes don't need many gears and the 3-speed Nexus is not heavy..The Shimano roller brakes that come with it also...
it could well be that the creaking noise dows not come from the crank but from loosened spokes. I'd ping all the spokes to check if any spoke grinds against another and tighten up all the slightly loosened spokes a quarter turn just to eliminate a possible source. It's often the case after the...
I am saying that failures occur when the components are stressed beyond what they are designed for. Derestricting means that the normal operating margins that the manufacturers put in to protect the bike are removed.
The most obvious is average power consumption. You ride faster on a...
There is no free lunch. Derestricting pushes some parts of the system to the limit, thus exposing the system weaknesses.
The weakest link in this case is often the battery which will be stressed, internal temperature rises and dies prematurely. The next weakest point is the motor reduction...
jonah is correct. I have not seen a conventional folded e-bike as compact as the Brompton. Folded, the Brompton measures 585mm high x 545mm long x 270mm wide. According to the Woosh web page, the folded Gallego measures 72cm x 64cm x 40cm (H X L x W ). Apparently, it can be wheeled about...
if you like the size and the fold of a Brompton, this new Gallego from Woosh comes close.
It has pedelec and throttle, 8Fun SWX motor, Nexus hub gears and hidden battery.

dishing.
Front motor wheels have less dishing, pressure and stress are spread more evenly.
your weight - 35% to the front, 65% to the rear.
Motorbikes are CDs, have better suspension and tyres.
Hub motor vibrates the spokes, loosens nipples.
derf, the forum needs sponsors. From the 15 sponsors, there are about 300-500 bikes and 30 kits. I've been on here for the last 4 years and I think there is an unwritten rule that recommendations should go first to one of the sponsors then next to the ones who merit the most. In return, members...
