As I mentioned some batteries do have an internal charge fuse, I don't know if this is the case for the crossfire battery. Batteries don;t usually just die, the cells will hold voltage but to find out where the issue may lie it would need to be opened and tested internally.

Did you check the charger voltage output was ok ? The battery it self may have an internal charge fuse.

Show a proper pic of the battery, it will be a generic two wire connection so any battery of the correct voltage will work.

If one wants a display that is smaller the the LCD 4 or 11 might fit the bill, both have all of the lcd3 functions bar the watts output & amb temp function. The same parameter P & C's all available.

With the KT, one doesn't have to use an lcd3. KT make about a dozen displays from lcd1 & 2 basic models right up to lcd12 last time I looked. Any one of those displays are compatible with KT controller.

Battery has an internal discharge fuse, some have a grommet to access said fuse. If not said battery will have to be opened to check it. A blown fuse would give 0v reading.

Pas and throttle power should be independant or are you saying the throttle is a key switch type ? Maybe some pics of the display and throttle will help !

Before any cycling nonsense it introduced vehicle owners need to respect the road side infrastructure and stop parking on verges and pavements causing not only untold damage but blocking the way for pedestrians and other pathway users.

We need to know the kit and whether it has PAS ? If it has PAS does that work ? Sometimes there is a reason why things fail so we need to know when last the bike was used and if anthying happened like the bike fell over, an off or riding in the rain.

Yep as I thought cyphering the chinGlish on AliExp where I saw one, the MCU operates the Sw from batt A - B so they are not used in parallel a one. If going the XT60 route one should integrate a Schotky to each battery unless one is rigourous with charging and connecting voltages that are close.

The pin sequence is the same so yes it will work with no issues. I have used a yose hub, akm hub, mxus hub and bafang hubs simply by swapping the motor out and never had an operation issue.

20" wheel need a motor winding of 300 or 328rpm for good speed up to 15/16mph, one could go lower for mighty torque bur speed would barely hit the low 10's. For a hub only one will have to try ebay otherwise China stores/shops are by far the best option.
