    Cube vs Wisper SE

I agree Soundwave, batteries will get better but will cost a fortune for a good few years. The 575Wh will last a long, long time and when you eventually need to replace they cost just £499.00. This has nothing to do with quality, we simply don't need to make the same profits as Bosch, our...

    Cube vs Wisper SE

The 575Wh battery is a classic, Samsung celled with our deep sleep mode, they virtually look after themselves. The bikes don't suffer with water problems anywhere although the electronic parts should not be submerged. They don't like salt water much and if you do get the bike drenched in sea...

    Looking for perfect commuter..

Hi Tommy, I have just checked with On Your Bike, they say they do have bikes available for test riding. If you call and speak to Robert he will help you. Please let me know how you get on. https://www.onyourbike.com/electric-bikes.php All the best, David

    Cube vs Wisper SE

Hi, Before you pull the trigger, do have a try on a Wisper Torque, the build quality is as good, the battery is 575Wh, they are silent and very responsive. The torque sensor can also be turned off if you prefer cadence sensor alone and we have a throttle to regulate assistance. This can save a...

    dead Battery

If you email me Chris I'll give you the dimensions. Be very careful buying Cells from China, whilst there are excellent suppliers there are also some crooks esp on Ebay. Please check they have the correct certification before you purchase. Don't forget that you are responsible for the battery...

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

So it's illegal to ride anywhere in the UK where the public have access? If so that's a real shame. I was getting excited! All the best, David

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

We We certainly do. IMO the rules are daft. By all means restrict to 15.5mph but to limit the "nomininal" power to 250W Is ridiculous and is pretty well uninforcable. 1kW max power would make far more sense. As Dave says, it's all down to the manufacturer's stamp. My worry is as more and...

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

OK The EN certification testing will be interesting. If you can get away with this sort of power, well done to you. It will open the floodgates for very powerful bikes in the UK. If there is anything I can do please let me know. All the best, David

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

48V x 25A = 1.2kW. As a rule of thumb for the nominal Power you can divide by two then knock off a further 10 to 20%. So 500W nominal would be about right? All the best, David

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

I was with them in the factory two weeks ago. They told me this motor was 500W. If you've found a way around the rules, that's great news. Please would you share? Did the EN15194 certification go OK? All the best, David

First look at the new Woosh FB Six

We have been looking at this motor too. Is it not 500W nominal and therefore illegal in Europe? All the best, David

    Thanks to Russ and Helen!

It is a community and a great one at that, but with all such ventures, someone is needed as the catalyst to start it off and then run it. To create such a wonderful facility takes a lot of effort. I admit it, it was smarmy but I meant it! All the best, David

    E bike dealer

That's cool Wynne, your Wife's bike went to Peter yesterday, it's down there somewhere! We had a good day for the last day of the month, another few hundred Wispers on the road this May. I imagine the wheel size on the LCD has been set incorrectly, but if there is an issue we will send you a...
