you probably won't die if you hit a low wall or a car at 20mph but you likely will at 30mph. The problem I see is the throttle, accidental trigger, whether electronic failure or finger trouble. I don't have a throttle on my bike and I don't miss it.

    Security, How to do it?

don't bother, just ride as often as you can, your battery will be as strong as you use it. One day, you will go so far that it will get flat, then you'll know your range!

Woosh Sirocco CD vs Cyclotricity Stealth

175cm, you will be fine with the Big Bear. Get the cheaper Bear with sprung seat post. The BPM motor on the bear is about 25% more powerful than the CD, which is about 25% more powerful than the Sirocco 2. no, I don't have a Woosh bike. I ride a Specialized that I converted with a BBS01. I got...

    Westhill mountain bike

collect data on throttle alone, that's the worst case scenario, much more useful than data when in pedelec mode.

Woosh Sirocco CD vs Cyclotricity Stealth

it's not all £150 for the 5mph extra, the SR NCX parallelogram seat post pushed the price up to £849, you can get the Big Bear with Zoom or Promax sprung seat post for £809. It's worth the extra £40 it if you have loads of road bumps.

    Help wanted with Boss adjustment

we should not be too hasty to rubbish TETS about this. They've done a good job but it does not quite suit the customer, that's all there is to it. Maybe changing the PAS disc to 12 magnets double Hall would do the trick.

when to change disk brake pads?

loads of cheap disc brakes use pads similar to the £5 WX800 clarks http://www.wiggle.co.uk/clarks-organic-pair-of-disc-brake-pads/ when your brakes squeal, look into the gap between pads and rotor, check that the pads are flat against the rotor. Reducing the gap reduces the deformation of...

Kudos Duke or Pedego Classic Cruiser?

you don't need to spend loadsamoney for a good upright Dutch style bike. Look up the Woosh Big Bear LS (£809) if you weigh more than 15st: or the Woosh Sundowner (£725) if you weigh less than 15st:

    Woosh Sport-TS OR Woosh Sport-CD

Sport TS. Lighter, nimbler of the two and and better looking with the black bottle battery. Use the LCD to set assistance level then just pedal. No match for the Sport CD for hills at more than 8% but I loved it.

    Fitness e-bike - please help :)

something like the sirocco CD or Big Bear would do the job for less than half the price - they come with a throttle but Daz does not have to use it.

Bms battery 36v front wheel with bottle battery installation and review

you can use 10mm-13mm heat shrink sleeve over the cable to keep water away but should still put some silicon inside the sleeve before shrinking it, otherwise water can get through the joint
