Bms battery 36v front wheel with bottle battery installation and review

I would put a bit of silicon glue to waterproof the point where the motor cable enters the axle. Other than that, the motor is very quiet, well done. Can you find a good hill to give the bike a climbing test?

    Help wanted with Boss adjustment

I know you can't put a price on happiness but we can put a figure on the margin, about 140%-170%. I blame their directors for being greedy, not their sales staff.

£600 for a PAS sensor? are you sure? the Boss is just a straightforward 48V BPM CST kit.

    Help wanted with Boss adjustment

you should check the micro-switches in the brake sensors with a DVM. If they work properly then follow the sensors to the controller and check the connectors. If they are good then your controller is faulty.

    fastelectricbike

you know I ride a derestricted bike so I am not preaching here. I still think 1000W is dangerous especially when controlled by a simple throttle.

    fastelectricbike

why do you need a 1000W motor? an 8-Fun 250W BBS01 makes a decent kit, is fast enough to keep up with 20-25mph traffic in town and does not need number plate.

What has happened to the variety?

three years ago, most talks were centered on exotic and expensive bikes, mostly bought by hobbyists who wanted to talk about the technical advances that their bikes had, why these advances justified their high price. You've got lots of threads about Bionx, Panasonic and GoSwiss Drive then Bosch...

Need new battery where from please?

you can unpack the cells to use in another project but the saving's not worth the effort. You'll also need to repack the cell with heat shrink sleeve, otherwise the cells will swell and die within a few hundred miles.

Woosh Sirocco CD vs Cyclotricity Stealth

both bikes are limited by how much the motor can draw on the battery, whose continuous discharge is at most 2C. Soldering the shunt may not do a lot to increase the torque on the Tornado.

    bafang cst

for a total weight rider + bike = 100kgs, I estimate that the CST (with 20A controller) will go up 8% hill at 10mph on maximum throttle alone, the BBS01 (15A), also on maximum throttle alone, will trounce the CST at 11mph if you use gear 5, 18T cog at the rear. On any other gear, the CST will win.

Loose spokes on KTM e-cross p

it will take 10 minutes to sort out with a £2 spoke key. Simplest way is to ping the spoke with your fingers, you can feel easily if any of them is not tightened enough. Spokes need to be evenly tensioned.

Need new battery where from please?

no - unfortunately. This battery goes behind the seat post, the frame needs to have the chain stay and seat stay extended a bit to make room. Inside, you have a square long brick shape block. If you have a rare model of rear rack, at the bottom of this page, you see an example of recelling an...
