Has to be registered and insured of course, and subject to MOTs. Rider needs helmet etc. Can't be ridden on a cycle way or bridleway either. Green lane riding is fast becoming a thing of the past too.

The Marathon Plus will probably do the trick. I use them at near maximum pressure of 80 psi which keeps the sides well away from most sharp things. Also helps with rolling resistance and handling at the expense of a firmer ride. There isn't much puncture resistance at the sides of kevlar belted...

My local bike shop had that Momentum in the window a few months ago. It looked like a well made bike and easy on the eye in a retro way too. Only two speeds though and a not very powerful hub motor so not much use where I live.

Depending on the result of the election there may well not be a next time. Most of these people were elected on a derisory 15% or so turnout and have proved to be a waste of space and the job a failed political idea. The next government will probably abolish them.
